We see football players who've won a championship say they're going to Disneyland or Disney World, when you get back on your feet after your surgery, where would you like to go?

Ever since I was a kakat kitten I've wanted a tail, preferably a fluffy Persian one. Maybe I'll tell my questioners I'm going to have my rump, reduced so they can implant it better? I expect people to tell me I'm too old for surgery, it might kill me-nope,it's gonna help me live and live, longer. This world is too, funny to abandon now, want to see what happens, next. Power to this pussycat!

My guess and remember, its just a guess is late February/early March cause many offices schedule a month to 6 weeks ahead. I hope I'm wrong and its sooner, you've had a wait already. Good luck whenever it is.

@DRoseman, if you can't find one in NW Ohio I would check maybe Fort Wayne Indiana or Southern Michigan. And I think I saw awhile back someone was having it done in Lima, Findlay and Akron on BP. I'm going to Columbus, although my local hospital has started doing limited Bariatrics they don't do,BMI above 40 and not the RnY I need because of GERD. I know Cincy has good programs and there's one at West Chester that I've heard good things of. How about OSU or University at Cleveland, they might have bariatric clinics at lower rates since they are teaching, hospitals. I'm sure there is an answer to this problem and you're gonna find it.

    Hello Everyone,
I just moved from my 21 year home in North Carolina to Rhode Island this past summer. I also made a decision I had been thinking about for a few years, to have Weight loss surgery. I had my first appointment with my surgeon on 11/16/17. We decided on the bypass due to my diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I have gotten through all steps required for surgery except for my endoscopy, I have that tomorrow. Everything is going well I have no reason to think I won't be approved by my insurance (Tricare Prime). I am just feeling like I am hanging out here by my self. My family is very supportive but I left all my friends behind when I moved and it is harder to connect with them now. Anyone else pre-op here is RI. It would be good to connect to someone close who could understand. I went to my local support group but I didn't really connect with anyone. I am going back to the next one at Roger Williams Medical Center on 1/17/18. If there is anyone out there that feels the same way and just wants to talk to someone going through the same thing feel free to reach out.

I would start by walking the halls and build up,each day, walk,a little bit longer and farther and soon, you can try up and down a flight of stairs. You won't be walking a,lot but,you will be making a positive effort. I should listen to this advice,i'm giving , it's snowy,in Ohio and I don't relish walking on ice but I could be exercising inside. I know there are some senior citizen exercises on cable, do them when you're ready. You can do it girl, I know you can. And I'm about your size and I have marched in place when nobody can see me.

Fluffy you are one foul fowl but gotta love you for it. You brighten up the dark corners of my life and like most of us I have a few. Always count on you to see the ironies in this life.[emoji197] Let me tell of my son. The Tomkitten. I was peeved at him for something and. I said "you are an agitator", he said an agitator stirs up the S*** so you can get rid of it. Danged if the boy isn't right, think he might be following in my paw prints.

I'm widowed and have the reverse; got a MMS a while back,of someone I knew in a Speedo, do you know what the average guy my age(72) looks like one of those? Bow legged and white fur everywhere, suppose he thought I'd be greatful he was still, above ground. Didn't like him that well when we were young, why now? The nice gals are still out there and decency trumps anything else. Now I'll get from behind my preaching pulpit and wish you good luck,in your journey.

Thanks for posting this, I'll want to make sure I'm not sleeved and that open is permissible, my gastroenterologist just switched me to Dexilant from Prilosec, he calls D the Ferrari of GERD medicine. Does seem to be helping and has cut down on my gastritis pain. No more coffee etc but maybe a small, price to pay.
