Every time Fluffy Chix and I read a successful,posting we sing "our day will come and we'll have everything" and it will, maybe it will be sweeter for the wait. Fluffy's gonna fly like an eagle and I'm gonna be a sleek trim cougar instead of the plump pussycat I am now. We are going to be victorious in the weight wars. My theory is: major surgery is a little like being in a car wreck, you're stiff,sore and,if gonna take,awhile to heal. Take things slow, if i didn't feel would be worth it I wouldn't be planning to join you on the losers bench. Be kind to yourself, the veterans I've read here say it will and I believe them you're on your way to better health. You're being tested but I believe you'll make it. Ever since I was a kakat kitten I've wanted a tail, preferably a fluffy Persian one. Maybe I'll tell my questioners I'm going to have my rump,reduced so they can implant it better? I expect people to tell me I'm too old for surgery, it might kill me-nope,it's gonna help me live and live,longer. This world is too,funny to abandon now, want to see what happens,next. You might not be lifting but watch for too,many gyrations of your midsection or bending over. I've not had my Bari surgery but had gall bladder surgery in the bad old days when it wasn't laprascopuc and,went home to a toddler and a preschooler. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

I find myself noticing others who might benefit from knowing more about bariatric surgery. I have kept my mouth shut thus far but it's getting harder when I see struggling,and our of breath young people. I want to tell them there is hope and answer, but in their place(where I was until I started my journey) would I have accepted a gentle suggestion? I have found 2 acqaintances who are post surgery but they didn't tell me of their plans. I'm afraid I asked one if she'd had cancer- well she was thinner and so was her hair- how was I gonna think? I've had a c pap machine for about 6 weeks; things were fine in the beginning but I find myself rebelling against it and on a couple nights took it off,in the middle of the night. It probably doesn't help that I've got a head cold right now. Help. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Fluffy Chix and I may be joining you, our actual dates haven't been set up, she's finishing up,the 6 month supervised diet documentation Texas requires and I'm waiting for my sleep study doctor to evaluate my c pap use after my 1st,6weeks to,see,if,it has been of benefit and fax,my surgeon her report. My gastroenteritis doctor just told me my EGD showed active gastritis, will this slow down or bar me from surgery? Gonna follow his consul cause I've come so close.

Just a followup Fluffy chix, I have gastritis pretty bad, put me on stronger than Prilosec tummy medicine, gonna follow his advice cause I still want,my surgery maybe this will heal me enough?
