Mine looked the same way...it was an allergic reaction to the glue...they had me take benadryl pills...took a couple weeks to go away.

Also, maybe some coconut oil. That seems to be a miracle solution to a lot of things

Also 3 days post o.p and still have shoulder pain from gas bubbles .but every day has gotten a little better.just making sure I take my gas drops every 4 hours and a muscle relaxer

Day 3 is the worst. Every day from here on out will hopefully get better. I was where you are now, and felt like it was a mistake. I’m in my third week postop now, and aside from the diet, I feel great. It gets better.

Call your doctor if it has not gone away. Call anyway to ensure it is in the record.

Walk every chance you can. It will help you bounce back so fast! Congrats!

I feel better today than yesterday.a little sore in my shoulders and stomach but other than that starting drinking chicken broth seems to go down pretty good..

Good luck and make sure you check back in with us when you are on the other side and let us know how it went.
Tips: ask for a trapeze bar on your hospital bed. It really helps in getting in and out of bed during your hospital stay. Also remember to Walk, Walk, Walk.

I'm scheduled for December 19th! I can't believe it's almost here. I have pre surgery and pre op this week where they'll share foods, Proteins etc info that I'll need. I'll be on the 2 week liquid diet.
I've taken tueaday-friday off from work. Monday is Christmas so I'll return on Tuesday. God willing with no complications. I'm wishing everyone a successful month and saying a prayer for your doctor's steady skilled hands and a speedy recovery.
I bought a size 10 skirt just to hang in the closet LOL.
I've had some people tell me if you get through day 3 of liquid diet, then you're good. Thoughts??

Tomorrow I start my pre op diet..it won't be as long as what it should be cuz I have surgery on the 13th of december...thank God because it's gonna be rough for 8 days.but can't wait til next week

My surgery date is on the 14th. I started the pre-op diet on Sunday. 1st day was easy today wasn’t so bad besides the headache at the end of the day. Good luck

All went well, surgeon said it couldn’t have gone better. Pains much better this morning, but I still feel as though I’ve been kicked in the chest. Breathing in deeply still hurts a lot too.

Burping apparently helps with gas pain. Still haven’t eaten anything, but taking small sips.

I’m about to go in for my x-ray and then I can go home - a bit nervous of how I’ll be at home, but I think I will be ok if the pain medication is good.

Love to you all and blessings. Even in pain I know this is the best decision of my life
