Hey guys, this is day 3 for me and I'm in a significant amount of pain. Also having a hard time drinking anything because of reflux. Is this normal?

Incision site pain, drain site pain, shoulder pain, abdominal pain? May be gas, normal healing, overexertion ...

Figure out where it hurts most and that me give you clues to help when you speak to your doctor

Marina, I totally understand what your feeling. I am 5 days post op and am having significant pain, fullness(bloaty), and am also unable to really drink anything. I am hoping this subsides soon. dehydration is my main concern.

Everything is accurate except I don't have a drain.

I had pain at three days post op. I still have a small area of discomfort after two weeks where my largest incision is.

Are you taking a med for the reflux?
