  2. I'm going on thursday to see my primary care dr to see if I qualify. I am so nerovus about this. I guess I'm really embarrassed to go in there and tell him all my issues. My experience with military drs hasn't been that great though. They've always dismissed my probs. My husband is going with me. Is there any advise on just how to put things? or what to say?
  3. does anyone know anything about tricare? My husband is active duty and the website says that you have to be 100lbs overweight and have diabetes or some other syndrome. well, I am just overweight. I am 5"4 and I weigh 230lbs. I am at a point where I don't want to get any bigger. I have tried diets and exercise but they didn't work. I was just wondering (if anybody knows) what my chances are of getting a referral to get the surgery with just being severly overweight... Thanks for any comments! Kim:tongue2:
  4. I'm new here. I live in California, but I am originally from Tennessee. My husband is in the Air Force. we've been out here for 4 1/2 years, and married for the same. :huh2: No kids yet. I want to get the band. I have an appointment next thursday to basically see if I am a candidate. Hopefully I can get it! can't wait to meet all ya'll
