  1. It's so quiet here on the biker forum. I know.... everyones out riding their bikes! DUH!!!! Hope everybody had a safe and happy 4th.:biggrin2:
  2. I am currently on my 5th bike in 7 years. All Harleys, my first was a 2000 Sportster 883 custom, had it 3 month and decided it was way too small, got a 2001 Heritage Softail, (my favorite of all the bikes I've had), had to have a Fatboy 2002, then traded it for a 2004 V-Rod. Currently have a 2006 Softail Deluxe. It's a nice ride also. My advice is if you can rent a bike that you really like, do so for at least a weekend. Looks are one thing, riding is another. That is the true test to whether it fits you and you fit it. Good luck on your journey. Ride safe!
  3. Hi, I'm kinda in the same boat you're in and will be interested to see the comments also. My hubby's ins. ran out yesterday, and he starts a new job on the 14th. Couldn't see paying $1100 for 2 weeks of insurance to get us thru till the new job kicks in. Both insurance companies are United Healthcare but who knows what the new plan will cover???
  4. :smile2:Hello all, newbie here. I can't believe there is a forum for lab band bikers! How cool! I was banded 06/07, have lost 63# with about 25# to go. Anyway, back to the question. I drive a 2006 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe. We (my dh and I ) also have a 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. I have had 5 bikes in 7 years. A girl can change her mind can't she????? LOL
