  1. RNY November 1 ,2017 HW: 298 CW 210 GW1: 150 6 months out, absolutely no regrets. Wish I would have done it sooner! Hoping by this time next year I will reach my goals.Being 55 years old the weight takes longer to shed but it can be done. If your doubting getting this operation, don't. If I could do it anyone can.   3. Surgery: Nov. 1 2017 Hvy Weight: 298 April 26 2018: 216 Almost 6 months out : Lost total: 82 lbs Yippy me! Drink 8 glasses of water Every meal has protein No " reg" - bread, pasta, rice,sugary desserts Shop at low carb stores for snacky foods Try to excercize 3- 4 times a week: swimming , Zumba ,walking Rarely have protein drinks because I don't like the taste Limit 1 caffeine per day, anything after that is decaf No pop whatsoever So thankful for this new life.   5. You look amazing. Biotin takes about 3 months before you notice a difference. Now having said that, I do not notice a difference. I have been taking biotin 2 years before surgery. Noticeable difference. Hair was strong and very shiny. Since the operation, RNY Nov. 1 2107- my hair started really falling out at the 4 month mark. Thankfully I already have thick hair but boy now I know how people feel with fine hair! It's supposed to improve again. Hopefully I am not bald by them.   6. Just keep drinking. I was pretty weak too. Dehydration will get you hospitalized pretty quickly. Nausea and dizziness can be caused by dehydration. Sent from my Nexus 5 using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. It depends if you started at 400 lbs or 200 lbs. I started at 298, and I am losing approximately 3.5 lbs a week with about 3 stalls lasting up to 10 days. Rny- Nov 1 2017 HW: 298.5 Today: 224 Sent from my Nexus 5 using BariatricPal mobile app

  21. It's not realistic thinking you will never have a dessert ever again. I think that sets us up for failure. I have low carb protein bars, plain yogurt with sugar free syrups in every flavor imaginabe, strawberries and blueberries. I found a low carb protein cake single serving at the Low Carb Store in Canada called Smart Cakes in different flavors.
