  1. WOW!!!.. Best wishes for a speedy recovery... Stay encouraged and I hope things get much better for you quickly!!
  2. That's never happened to me.. Please take care of yourself...
  3. Best wishes!!!.. I will admit that the first few days for me.. were a little rough.. but it was well worth it!!! Blessings and a speedy recovery!!!
  4. I have a few business lunches/dinners a week.. Usually, I order some type of meat appetizer or lunch sized portions... We get so caught up in talking and stuff, I don't ever finish my meals, but no one notices.. and even if they did, I really don't care... Tender cuts of steak or grilled chicken w/ veggies are always good choice.. Moving the food around on your plate will give the illusion that you've eaten more. You will find that living the sleeved life becomes much easier as you navigate situations like this.... The servers and managers are always concerned that I didn't eat much.. I assure them that the food is fine, I just can't eat anymore right now... It will be fine...
  5. Awesome job!! Congratulations... but, I hope you are taking it easy.. right??!!!...
  6. WOW!!! Awesome job!!!! I can hardly wait to get to my "century" mark!!! You have done a wonderful job!! I'm very excited with you!!!! Go girl!!!
  7. Congratulations!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!
  8. Yeah!!! Congratulations!!! I was a little nervous.. and a little "crazy" immediately after surgery!!! But, I have to say, getting sleeved is one of the best decision I could have ever made!!!!! Keep up posted on your progress.. and I'm sliding over to make space for you on the Losers' Bench!!!
  9. Congratulations!!! And ALL NSVs are big!!!!
  10. CC, I had to see a derm about my face.. she gave me some cleansing cloths, locoid cream and ziana for my breakouts.... my face is so much better now.... Ladies, congrats on your journey thus far... and it is definitely a journey... do whatever is necessary to enjoy, embrace and successfully navigate it.... I was seeing my therapist regularly, before I went back to work and she def helped me pinpoint some root causes of my depression and anxiety about my sleeve... I love Sleevina, but I can be a control freak and she won't let me do (eat) certain things... I just want to encourage you all to keep taking it one day at a time and celebrating each victory as they come!!
  11. Hey Guys.. Do any of you all have recurring sinus/respiratory issues?? I had to leave work today ... went to the Take Care Clinic and the NP told me I had a severe sinus infection that I need to knock out before it progresses.. I've noticed that since I've been sleeved, my allergies and sinus issues are worse.. Coincidence?? I don't think I've been taking enough of the gummy vits that I take daily... I have no appetite, but I know I need to get my Protein in.. Suggestions for protein ladened Soups or something?? No dairy or red meat... Thanks guys...
  12. I'm so sorry that you're going through all of this.. Best wishes and prayers for a speedy and complete recovery..
  13. You ladies are hilarious!!!! LOL
  14. Awesome job!! What a way to be proactive.. That's the only regretI have.. I should have started exercising during my pre-op phase...
  15. Congrats!!! I'm close to my 6 month mark.. Hopefully my weightloss will be greater than it is now.. I spent a few months totally stressed out about not dropping huge amounts of weight... Congratulations and I'm very proud of you...
  16. next time, make a better decision!! And perhaps think of some other things you can do when boredom, stress or other situations arise... Don't feel too bad... get back on your plan...
  17. It is definitely a learning process.. and one that is ongoing even after being sleeved... Sometimes, I forget and attempt to chug Water, Sleevina let's me know who's in charge... I'd say, work on one thing at a time.. Set a timer for 20 minutes and try to extend your meal time to that length... I purchased a rubbermaid 32oz water bottle w/ a spout.. I definitely can't chug out of it.. Maybe get one of those and try to take a sip or 2 every few minutes....
  18. You're doing an awesome job!!! Remember stress is counterproductive!!! I agree w/ Lissa, shake up your meals a little... Maybe try 25-30 grams of carbs..
  19. I don't think that should be a problem....
  20. Yep.. I'd def skip the bread!
  21. LOL.. .You guys are hilarious!!!
  22. WOW.. sending prayers and good thoughts of healing and peace to you.. I agree that you should consult an attorney...
