My mom was 10000% supportive of my surgery.. but now I think she forgets I had it because she’s always saying “let’s go get something to eat” ... and then if I go, I always try to make sure I just get a salad because it’s the healthier option but my brain just keeps seeing that 235 lb girl that struggled constantly.

While you may get away with it, as my doctor says, it is a slippery slope. It does not take much to revert back to the old ways, especially if you are like me and use food as a coping mechanism.

Okay. Watch out for the carbs .. especially this early on. But hey- if your doc says it’s okay and you want to- then by all means. I had major dumping symptoms first 4 months at least...

7 weeks?! No... go get some yummy sugar free popsicles. That was my saving GRACE

Haha I just tried making a video of making dinner after meal prepping and unless I can figure out video editing. You don’t want to see me making 4 chicken skewers 😂😂. Poking each slice of pepper, onion and chicken chunk. ⏳ I’m going to see if I can get the hang of editing and *then* I will def post a video.
