...to go to the gym and get eyeballed in a good way from the ladies there. Definitely keeps me motivated. I remember the days not too long ago where I would be eyeballed everywhere I went just because I was a 6'3" 400+lb guy and looked out of place in any setting. The new way of getting eyeballed is so much better.

Combination of both. On some of the pics you can see my phone staged. In others, my wife is taking the picture.

I switched up my routine about a month ago to do different lifts, focusing on compound lifts. With that, I started a 6 week program where I had kind of set my weights for the 6-week period. At the end of this routine, I'll try again for 1 rep Maxes and see where I'm at.

So very true. At my 9 month follow-up appointment, I was already 5 pounds below my goal weight, and the doctor wanted me to transition to maintenance and stop losing weight.
Nutritionist told me to increase from 1600 to 1800 calories per day and she didn't want me going above 1800 calories. I knew immediately that do nutritionist didn't have very good advice for patients on maintenance. At almost 6 foot 3, and working out 6 days a week, there's no way I would NOT keep losing weight eating only 1800 calories a day. Discussion ended in and agree to disagree. I've been trying to adjust my diet based on results week the week, and I found about 2400/day is my maintenance. I've fluctuate about the same 1/2 of a pound the past few weeks at that calorie intake. If my nutritionist knew that's how much I was eating, I think I think she would s*** herself.

I've been trying to incorporate more complex lifts into my routine. Specifically deadlifts, squats, lunges, pull-ups, etc. I've been seeing some good gains in my arms, shoulders, and legs.

I've embraced talking about the surgery AS PART of a lifestyle change. I've actually had a few coworkers pursue the surgery after seeing my success with it.
I'm not sure why some are so ashamed to discuss surgery. I see it as an opportunity to better educate people and perhaps help a few with their own struggles along the way. No shame in my game.

12/11/17 here. I hit my goal about a month ago and have been holding steady since. I'm up to about 2200 calories/day now and maintaining. I work out 6 days a week. All in all, life is great!
