Hi guys! I had a mini gastric bypass with Dr. Illan in Tijuana on May 16th, 2017. I have officially lost 100 lbs! If anyone here is on the fence about Mexico, I say go for it! It was the best choice I've ever made. If you guys have any questions feel free to ask.

I agree - Premier Protein is the best and available at costco or on Amazon, amongst other places, and also inexpensive. Comes pre-made or in powder.< br>
Body fortress is another really good one. It's available at Wal-Mart & target that I've found.

Hi there, Premier Protein is a good Meal Replacement. It consist if 30 grams of Protein and 5 grams of sugar. It has a good taste compared to others. I got a little creative by putting it into a ice cream machine as a treat. Best of luck on your journey.

Good girl. What I don't like is that many of those superstars actually never tell the truth about the surgery and mainly insisting that they reshaped their bodies through gym and self-control. I really hope people would understand one day, that the surgery is not a "cheating" or the lack of willpower, but the most radical and ultimate measure. We actually gave up what others won't ever be able to - food! ))

Yes my hair started falling out around month 3. I didn't take any supplements because I figured it would happen regardless and I knew it would grow back. The Hair loss has slowed considerably now that I am near month 9 and my hair is growing back. I was blessed with thick hair so it hasn't been noticeable to other people.

Hi there, in my opinion it's best to make short term goals and see where it goes once you get to that goal then set another one I think it's easier and more motivating because if you set a lower number and you don't get to where you want to be you are more likely to get depressed as I would. Hi there, prayers make everything easier! I had my procedure done on 8/8/17 & as time approaches it got a little more scarier and nervous but i thought about the bigger picture, think about the bigger picture and you will make it through. I know initially that I'll lose weight after my surgery and my life would change for the better & it will happen slowly but my life changed that very day of my surgery, my first month i lost 40lbs, I'm so pround of myself for making thid change and i know you would too, just pray and you will make it through. Think about the bigger picture and it will be less scarier. Xoxo Nisha.

I set mine at just over a normal BMI; it's the weight I was during college, at my lowest adult weight. But I do have intermediate goals: first is to lose 100 pounds. The next is to get under 200--still a very long way off. But I'll just see what happens as time goes by--the real goal is to be healthier. Everything else is just gravy (and how silly is it that so many expressions involve food? ). I'd express what I really want, after better health, as feeling better and looking better. The number is less important.

I need to lose 130 according to bmi charts. My doctor thought the high range on bmi would be too low for my frame. We agreed to target 100 lb loss then reassess.
when I lose 100' I will be the smallest I've been in over 20 yrs. I'm not going to obsess about the last 30. Just see where my body decides to settle and I can maintain comfortably.
