  2. Hi there, premier protein is a good meal replacement. It consist if 30 grams of protein and 5 grams of sugar. It has a good taste compared to others. I got a little creative by putting it into a ice cream machine as a treat. Best of luck on your journey. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-N920P using BariatricPal mobile app

  4. Try to walk as much as you can and also use a spirometer as you will need to get the anesthesia meds out of your system. I was in discomfort for a while as I thought that is how I'm supposed to feel. Laying down will be more discomfort as you sutures will be pulling apart as you lay. If you have a recliner take advantage. I don't have a recliner but my mom prep my bed up with pillows so that I wasn't laying flat on my back. Be positive, think about the big picture and the reason why you took this step and you will manage and pull through [emoji4] Sent from my SM-N920P using BariatricPal mobile app

  7. Hi there I I'm not familiar with Cigna insurance however it will be best for you to contact a Cigna representative and ask them to explain your benefits. From what I read it seemed that if your primary care recommend the surgery then it is based on medical necessity which they should cover. Also if the site that you are going to do your surgery can also request an authorization but you will need a referral from your primary care. Sent from my SM-N920P using BariatricPal mobile app

  10. Hi there, prayers make everything easier! I had my procedure done on 8/8/17 & as time approaches it got a little more scarier and nervous but i thought about the bigger picture, think about the bigger picture and you will make it through. I know initially that I'll lose weight after my surgery and my life would change for the better & it will happen slowly but my life changed that very day of my surgery, my first month i lost 40lbs, I'm so pround of myself for making thid change and i know you would too, just pray and you will make it through. Think about the bigger picture and it will be less scarier. Xoxo Nisha. Sent from my SM-N920P using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Hi there, in my opinion it's best to make short term goals and see where it goes once you get to that goal then set another one I think it's easier and more motivating because if you set a lower number and you don't get to where you want to be you are more likely to get depressed as I would.
