    Nurses that had the sleeve

Hello i am not a nurse but I am a doctor [emoji40] and I had my bypass surgery on september 1st. It's been a crazy month of changing of dealing with my new gut ha. But at work everyone has been so supportive I expected something completely different. But as you surround yourself with Healthcare people they know that is best for you and it will improve your life significantly. I hope your journey is going well also. Hi. It really depends on the person and how your doctor and nutritionist are seeing your recovery. The y started me on purees and creams and greek yogurt after 1 week postop. But you really need to try to find a way to get the proteins in because they are like (beside water) the most important thing. I think they sell like shots of protein and I know the protein tastes awful but it is what it is. Or talk to your doctor and try to find a solution together Sent from my F3313 using BariatricPal mobile app

    4 days post op

Hello i had bypass surgery on 9/1 and what i think works for me is taking small sips sometimes it takes me like 30 mins drinking like 15 oz of the protein shakes. its very important to reach your protein goals and also the water. I really dont know when you can gulp 1 oz 🤔 Sent from my F3313 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Hey! Introductions

I had the gastric bypass and the first days in the hospital were hard but when i got home on the 3rd day i felt better. And for the food i dont know why i only crave for cold things. Hot things like broth or tea makes me nauseas. But know im on phase 2 of the diet i can eat purees and it felt good. With the purees i kind of feel like full but i also started to have that hunger feeling that i didnt have with just the liquids. But really i feel great maybe because i Was expecting some hard recovery but i cant complain [emoji4]. And how about you? Do the y switch your diet al ready? And i really hope your pain is getting better Sent from my F3313 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Feel so weak!

The most important things in your firsts weeks postop are the proteins and water intake. I take my 3 scoops of protein a day i also diluted them Just taking small sips and i feel great. I am 7 days postop and yesterday i went to the movies (with my bottle of water of course) and i feel great (yes a little tired sometimes but thats normal). But e very body is different so dont overwhelmed too much and take one step at a time and drink your protein. You will see you will feel better [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4] Sent from my F3313 using BariatricPal mobile app
