ROFL!! TELLY -- ok sure -- in two years our challenge will be KEEP the weight off woo hoo! I can't always exercise -- disabilities won't let me - but I'll tell ya what -- my blood sugars are so darn LOW that I have to choose -- exercise or food! I am not happy choosing food - so I can't exercise or will lower my sugar even more since I don't want to eat more food -- I have bloodwork again end of June - until then I will continue minimal medication - but I have to take 'some' until that bloodwork comes back -- what a dilemma! so yea for NO sugar and NO flour -- it DOES work!!!

I have to say I'm up for a summer challenge! But as Funny said - could it be for ONE month at a time?? Maybe 'adding' something to the initial challenge for July and August could work....

Fun thread: foreign languages
I have the reverse in our house - I only speak "English" like a Northerner - then I have my SO who is from Texas (almost the border) who claims he speaks English lol -- when we first met we had to ask one another to repeat things constantly -- between his twang and my accent it was always interesting! My favorite word he uses is "heighth" I said there is no such word - yes there is he said - how tall ya are - I was like huh? lol -- he also talks like a geezer and HIS own younger boys would say what? when he would say crazy old-fashioned things like pocketbook, bill fold, picture show..... My most AND least favorite is his favorite phrase "Do What?" for what do you need/want me to do/what are you talking about/excuse me can you repeat what you said I didn't hear you -- all rolled into those two little words And then there is always sireeen, and ceement

Thank you Telly - for exercising for me! lol My disabled body would LOVE to do these things -- well - no - my mind would like my disabled body to do these things -- I can't - so I live through those who can -- I DO walk on the treadmill - 15 minutes twice a day - on my good days -- even though it is minimal it is amazing how well that keeps my sugar in check -- I have cut down a lot on diabetes medication and that's a great NSV for me! Sincerely -thank you GFG Club - you are awesome motivators!

Oh P'Nut I did daycare for over 15 years - I so know how exhausting it is to run after little ones....my sympathy is so with you! Maybe eat dinner - relax - and then go for a casual walk with your DH after dinner? Not necessarily worrying about working out as much as just walking to walk.....
