Oh dear. Here is a sweet tip from us who have gone through this, RELAX. It's a stall. It happens multiple times during your first 18 months of expected weight loss.
Some people get it the first month, others get it later on. The key is to relax with the scale. If you stress about it, it keeps your cortisol levels high which then causes you to regain (mostly water) weight.
This is also your bodies way of letting you know that it is time to start exercising. Not heavy exertion but walking around more and trying to get that heart rate to about 115 steady - fat burning level.
Now is the time to start taking "before" pictures if you have not done already. Then compare to the photos before and after/now. You will be losing inches at this time, so pay attention to the following:
    1) Do your clothes fit differently?
    2) Are you feeling lighter on your feet or knees?
    3) Are you drinking enough Water?
    4) Are you meeting your bodies Protein needs?
    5) Are you really doing what you are supposed to be doing?
These five questions are what you should keep in mind when going through a stall. It could be that you need to tweak somethings.

They had the nutritionist come in the lobby and speak to everyone. Then I went to the back to get a weigh in and then saw the surgeon to confirm everything. I asked for the soonest date possible and that was his first available date. Then I saw the coordinator. She made an appointment for me to go to the hospital on Feb 20th for my blood work and to speak with the financial advisor. I got a sheet with the dates and when to start my liver shrink diet and that was it

I hated that stage. It does get better. Try to keep a positive attitude the best that you can. It is rough and those around you don't always know how to treat you or what to say to you after the surgery. Rumors may spread (like one of them that went around about me being "sick") but you did this for you. You should feel great about yourself and what you have done. It isn't the "easy way out" that some ignorant people will say. Be proud, and just remember that your WLS family will always be here to listen and offer advise on how we handled our new lives after WLS.
    Please feel better.

If I loose I loose if I stall I stall. I am in a 12 size large and 8 shoe ring finger is now a 6 before I was a 26 size 3x 10 shoe 10 ring finger.

Hi all!! Just got my surgery date for jan 9, 2018!! My starting weight was 350 and now I’m down to 333 with diet,, I’m 5’9,,, I stopped my pop cold turkey 4 months ago,, boy that was rough!! My hubby is 305 and very against this procedure,, so not only am I dealing with the stress of the surgery, I’m dealing with my husband being very jealous, insecure and talking very negative about going through with this surgery,, I focus 100% on my upcoming appointments and surgery date and can’t wait till the liquid diet starts the day after Christmas ( saying this sarcastically),, can’t wait to ring in the new year with the new me!!

So, I was told, to do a "jump-start". Which meant, starting the weightloss all over again. And taking it back to my pre-op diet. I lost over 20lbs when I did it pre-op. And, truthfully, I have been doing awful lately. (I gained about 20 lbs back). My starting weight was 324. Pre-Op weight 298, lowest weight 236, current 260. I have fluctuated in the past- I am an emotional eater. Which is why I am up now. I have gone through a pretty rough year. But, I am jump starting again. Maybe, give it a try.
The pre-op diet I did is attached. Don't get discouraged. We have all been there. Trust me, I could never get lower than 236. It's frustrating. But, you have to remember that you are beautiful. Regardless of how big or small your waist is. Be strong, and brave. And wake up everyday with a purpose. Don't let being over-weight ruin your life. Life is beautiful, and the curves and hills on the road, make it way more fun. :*

Good girl. What I don't like is that many of those superstars actually never tell the truth about the surgery and mainly insisting that they reshaped their bodies through gym and self-control. I really hope people would understand one day, that the surgery is not a "cheating" or the lack of willpower, but the most radical and ultimate measure. We actually gave up what others won't ever be able to - food! ))
