  2. I am almost two weeks post op and I have experienced the same discomfort sometimes. I have realised it's important to really chew the food, like seriously taking ones time with every bite. I also recommend you speak to your doctor. Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app

  8. So true! Very well said[emoji122]? thank you for your support and I hope the best for you in your journey! The mental challenges one encounters can be very intense. I'm currently on day 6 of my liquid pre op diet and let me tell you it is challenging at every corner [emoji28] There has been nights I've cried myself to sleep because I'm hungry. I hope it gets seemingly better with time[emoji120]? Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Thanks for sharing that info!!! Much appreciated[emoji4] Although I'm getting the mini gastruc bypass on 24Nov, I would reckon it would be relatable to that procedure as well Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Yes we can! On day five now and the struggle is still real but I'm just trying to keep myself busy as much as possible. For me the struggle is at its peak afternoons and onwards. I lack energy and although my work is an office job, it is demanding (social worker) and I finish late some days. We will all pull through this and laugh about this one day[emoji28] Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. [emoji137]? The first three days of the liquid diet I was experiencing intense headaches but they have now (day five) subsided. I hope your headaches will cease. Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app

I'm telling you on day 3 I literally cried myself to sleep[emoji23][emoji24] I'm on day 5, but I wouldn't say its easier but trying by all means to keep myself busy and try not to indulge. It is not easy but I hope the best for you as I do for myself! My surgery date is on 24 Nov Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app

  14. I'm currently on my two week liquid pre op diet, day 4 and the struggle is real. I'm hungry majority of time, I always seem to have a headache, I feel like I'm withering away... basically somewhat miserable[emoji24][emoji24] True talk, I cheated yesterday and I felt so bad about it. Now its day 4 and I'm hoping history does not repeat itself[emoji21] How have you all handled/handling your pre op diet? Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. Thats fantastic weight loss results and also being able to drink water with ease! I hope your energy levels improve with time and the throwing up will cease. I actually dread having to drink protein shakes (I find them absolutely awful!) So are you trying other foods for your protein intake? And if so, what are they? 24. Time flies, believe me! I've had to self finance because in Australia we don't have the option of insurance paying for it...So it's taken me two years to finally have the finances to pay for it lol I know the feeling, I've been going through it for years. I've been preparing myself mentally as this is a big decision. I know this does not make it easy to deal with but the time will fly and soon enough you WILL be posting before and after pictures[emoji6] I don't think insecurities ever really go away, even with wls but I reckon it's about learning how to manage them to the point they don't have such a hold/control over your life. That's my prayer, my hope in this journey. I hope for all the best for you in your journey!![emoji173] Sent from my SM-G935F using BariatricPal mobile app
