    Pains

Also I had throat pains for the first 2 to 3 weeks it was terrible...my Dr said it got irritated because of the breathing tube they put when you in surgery. I just forced myself to sip water, soup and protein as much as I could Sent from my SM-N910T3 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Pains

Hey! It's still early so it's normal to have some pain and discomfort. It's a bit early to eat eggs by itself, my Dr recommended egg drop soup...but if you are going to eat eggs chew them very well about 20 to 25 times, and wait about 30min before you drink anything. That's what I was told I know every Dr give different instructions. Also walking helps alot maybe 30min a day or as much as you can. I hope you feel better soon [emoji4] Sent from my SM-N910T3 using BariatricPal mobile app

Yes I had my surgery on the 21st of August. In Montefiore so far I lost 20lbs the first week, I haven't weight myself after that. I don't own a scale and I don't really want to, because of the stress of seeing it and wanting to weight myself every day...the only reason I know I lost 20lbs is because I went to see my Dr. I go again this week so I will know how much I've lost since. I'm planning on joining planet fitness..I just don't want to go on my own but I have to do it. How about you, did you have surgery yet? If not when? Post-Op Diet

My sergeon told me is ok to put an egg in the soup just don't let it get lumpy. When you heat up the soup or the soup is almost done put the egg and start moving it around slowly Sent from my SM-N910T3 using BariatricPal mobile app
