Extreme Pain at Incision Site
I had that! Sorry to hear you do, too. For me, it started on Day 10 and ended on Day 16. It was like there was literally a knife embedded in my main incision wound, and it hurt like crazy every time I moved. Went away as suddenly as it came. Swelling pressing nerve? Staple/stitch in muscle? Hematoma? Hernia? I never learned exactly what it was, but it is not uncommon.

Food isn’t appealing and I’m not hungry
I'm also not hungry yet, but I do look forward to my meals. How far are you from surgery? How many meals does your surgeon have you eating? Are your meals tasty? For instance, I like a scrambled egg well enough, but its better when I add some cheese and hot sauce. And rotisserie chicken is good, but its better with a tablespoon of Siracha Aoli served with it. Simple additions add some needed fats and flavor, and its still easy to keep calories in the 500-600/day range (which is my target for week 4-5).

Increased Sex Drive, better orgasms?
Not that I've noticed yet. But, truthfully, I'm pretty worn out in the evening still. I should have taken an extra week off...

Any March 2018 Sleevers?
I researched it and bought a little Kitchen Aid food processor, but I haven't used it -- I use my teeth like @madlily

Any March 2018 Sleevers?
OMG, just had 2 ounces of wild cod and it was so good! This is a good choice for folks who don't like fishy fish. Its chewy like lobster, mild, and filling....

Supportive friends a blessing and a curse?
Oh hell yes! As if my own impatience isn't enough, I have to deal with theirs!! Hang in there, don't overspend on clothes for their behalf, because you are going to go through many sizes. :-)

Post op day 1 - I have had the easiest recovery and here is why....
I have no idea what was in the IV at the hospital that first 24 hours, but it must have worked well because I had minimal pain too. When I had the weird incision pain from Day 10 through Day 16, my surgeon's office authorized Advil only if Tylenol didn't work. I skipped them both and tried to stay still as much as I could, 'cause then it didn't hurt. Soooooo glad that stabbing pain passed!!

Any March 2018 Sleevers?
I just finished week 3, down 14# since surgery. I'm not necessarily hungry but sometimes I just want to EAT, if that makes sense. I am eating 4 meals a day spaced 4 hours apart: shakes and softs.

Stealth Easter
Had my first challenge today: Easter dinner, where only my husband and SIL know about the surgery. I surreptitiously moved food around my plate, and unloaded a big chunk to my husband's plate. And I ate a few small bites of ham and macaroni and cheese, a few blueberries and a raspberry. Since weighing my food wasn't an option, I ate conservatively, and planned/met my protein requirements before dinner. Success!! And damn, people eat a lot of food, don't they? I never noticed before!! Anybody else have a similar experience?

Today’s lunch picture
Good point -- my head is so locked in to two ounces soft protein 2X per day that I forgot!! Can't wait to start a more normal diet (with veges, fruits, nuts) in 2 weeks.

Any March 2018 Sleevers?
I found that half shakes worked best for me until recently. 12 ounces was nauseating. 2 more week and I hope to leave shakes in the dust and never look back!!

Today’s lunch picture
By my calculations, a person needs about 10 ounces of protein (fish/chicken/beef) a day to hit 65-75 grams of protein -- more if you are adding yogurt/cottage cheese/eggs/beans.

Sleeve Complications
OMG, you have had terrible luck!! Get better. :-)

I'm obsessing about serving sizes, so pls excuse me in advance :-) Ho many meals a day do you need to eat to meet your protein goal?

How much could you eat after surgery?
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Did you RD/NUT give you instructions about how much to eat?

Iv vain is getting hard
When I was having incision pain, surgeon's nurse said I could take Advil if Tylenol didn't work. But only for 2 weeks. I didn't take either because I figure my liver has been through enough.

Today’s lunch picture
In a couple of weeks, 2.5 ounces protein, plus 1/4-1/2 cup fruit/veges. I have a calorie target, too (only because I asked): 600-800 per day. This is up to 3 month checkup.
