  4. 17900 Sacramento California, hospital stay was included 2 nights, entire packet. Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I'm right there with you sleeve sister. I am 7 days out, feeling weak, anxiety prone, depressed and just discouraged by not being able to stay hydrated and getting my protein in. Feeling defeated. Considering ER to rehydrate but trying hard not to go Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Your losing an enormous amount in only less than 8 weeks. Looks at your stats. Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Also I heard diarrhea is very common this stage, which can be very painful due to stomach spasms Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I am 6 days out and just had my 1st bm with the help of a suppository and I don't have tarry black stools. I would call on that just in case its bleeding internal. Could be nothing but with all the pain I would be safe and call. I did notice a little red blood but it was fresh, could have been a fissure which I currently do have. As far as tummy pain goes, mine still is more of a cramp on and off and gassy. Sometimes its hard to eat too Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. No bm for me yet either. I'm in a lot of pain. I can barely walk, sometimes I can and sometimes the muscle pulling and burning is too much. Stomach gurgling all the time and tons of trapped air in tummy, chest and back. In tears as I write. Your not alone and we will be OK Its just a big surgery and we need to relearn how to eat like a 2 month old. Hang in there Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Now I can't tolerate any shakes. The paleo shake I can do, but I have to dilute the heck out of it. I found a great alternative to shakes! 4 triple zero Oikos yogurts equals to 60 grams of protein. It coats the tummy and heals it with the probiotics. ? 11. Sounds like dumping syndrome. Fudgicles even if sugar free may have high fructose corn syrup. Very common Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Best wishes and prayers that you heal super fast! Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. I use Julian's bakery egg white based shakes. I am only 4dpo so as long as I dilute it, I can drink it up fast. 1/2 hr. For 8 oz. The taste isn't great, but I'm whey intolerant so its my only choice. Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Very pretty. Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. Roseville Ca. Near Sacramento Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I am having it right now. Last night I thought it was behind me, got in a cool delute protein shake in a half hour, no pain. Even had 1/3 cup of Malto meal an hour later. Woke up took a few sips of Gatorade zero....boom the tummy thing u explained, feels like a real quick spasm or twinge. Trapped gas? Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I've been having the exact same thing. Try tiny baby sips. Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. Also, I've been walking, had bad gas pains, morphein made me spit dry heave, only 2 times and I switched to Percacet. Belly sore but bearable, tons of weird sounds when I drink anything. Burping and headaches. Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. I had mine on the 8/9 as well. Looks like your doing great. How are you doing when you drink? Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. Me too. 3 days out and gassy as can be Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. Expect this to be a transition that in the beginning is bearable but not comfortable. Go in with that mindset and understand all the side effects from what you have read here. That helped me a lot. I'm 3 days out and still trying to get the gas out,, and fluids down. It gets better everyday and most everyone goes through some emotional rollercoaster because it is hard to go from eating to drinking ice chips and slowly progressing to real food. Follow Dr.'s instructions, take your pain meds, and relax. Think about it as the long haul, ending results. Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. I was sleeved on Aug 9. The first two days were so painful, I was on morphine. Day 3 is wayyyy better. Pain scale 3 when I get up. Drinking feels weird and I can hear gas gurgling. Also my large incision on the right looks swollen compared to the other incisions Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Also I'm on percacet pills, I cut them in to 4's. Also take other pills. They have been giving me protonix thtough my IV
  24. No drains, just 6 incisions. I have purchased from the bariatric store online vitamin patches specific for sleeve or ryny. I dont think I want to take the vitamins oral just yet.
  25. I'm not having any emotional outbreaks or anger but I've read that is normal. I've had anxiety and fear though which is not fun. Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app
