10 days post op vsg

Guys! I'm 10 days post op. I've been wearing a binder to the extent where it fits comfortably. I'm home alone with my two-year-old and my husband is out with my oldest girls. I was freezing so today was the first time I bent over to put my socks. I got the worst pain ever in the chest area. But it was not my chest it was my stomach.I ate a Fudgsicle about an hour ago. I have not had any thing to drink. Got up and walked around and that pain that made me feel nauseated and gave me a cold sweat and clammy hands is gone now. It really freaked me out. Imagining the worst keeling over with my 2 year old in the house. I burped a couple burps and that pain has subsided. Has anyone experienced this? Was it trapped gas that I burped up or was it a cramp from bending over to put my socks on..

I did not like that feeling at all.. help!

It could have been a combination of things. Someone in my support group said that if she drinks and then bends over, the liquid pours right back out.

I tend to get those pains when I've eaten too much or too fast.

Maybe bending over so soon after eating pushed it back up into the uncomfortable zone and it took a few burps to get things settled again.

Dumping is if you had Rny.. The pressure on your stomach bending over with the band on sounds more like it to me.
