  1. I had my sleeve exactly 2 weeks ago and have no loss at all. I rang my nutritionist today and she said that as long as I am sticking to the diet and drinking enough water that I should not be concerned. She stated that inflammation plays a big part post surgery. Also I need to take senna to encourage Bowel movement
  2. All that you went through was hard but also pioneering for others - I am Happy to hear that things are now working out for yiu
  3. Don't you have to inject yourself for 10 days afterwards - You will be fine xx
  4. This is the first day - of the rest of your life
  5. I am on thicker soups - made one with leeks, spring onions, edamame beans and gammon - got two medium bowls down and later managed quick a large drink. It's going to take time
  6. Hi all I have the most amazing scales that track my weight and record in an app. The obsession with getting on and off them has now ended. I have worked out that the scale is not moving and it is stressful and dictates my mood. I have been sleeved two weeks tomorrow and have a follow up appointment in 4 weeks time. I will wait until then to know how much I have lost. I am happy now - I worked out it doesn't matter re the numbers -my mental health feels really stable knowing I have embarked on this journey and what I am doing can only eventually lead to weight loss. I can hardly eat and can't wait to exercise. I see a brighter future.
  7. My scale is fantastic - but actually I am happy now - I don't get on it- I worked out it doesn't matter - my mental health feels really stable knowing I have embarked on this journey and what I am doing can only lead to weight loss - no matter how slow,
  8. As a mum it's also her story and concern - maybe that is why she shared it with friends ?
  9. You are a brace lady - going it alone can work - in two weeks sleeved and relied heavily on friends and family and a maid service especially since I have a child. I am just about ready to go Back to work
  10. Thank you so much for you kindness and promptness
  11. I got sleeved on 28th June and am Showing no scale loss at all - yet I read others have lost 39 lbs. I am not despondent but do wonder
  12. I had mine on the 28th and m Showing no loss at all
  13. Woo !!! How amazing to get in a boat like that - a great non scale victory
  14. My local supermarket does bone broth- also real jelly ( jello ) contains collagen
  15. How you feeling now ?
  16. I went out last night on day 8 . I had a mango lassi ( yogurt drink ) and two spoons of lentil Dhall which was too spicy. We left quite promptly as I was a little over whelmed by the heat and the food - but I was so glad to be out and sociable. I also developed back and hip pain. Staying at home I would not have known how weak I was
  17. I can't imagine having to worry about portion sizes too much as the sleeve is restricted - but it's a good thing to think of
  18. Your doing amazing - I was sleeved a week ago and I think you have probably walked more than me.
  19. Wow ! Fantastic - crying with you
  20. I came looking for stories re dating - I personally have not had much joy with dating as the people I attract are fickle and also into large ladies. I would not be concerned re this behaviour- a lot of people mess around on dating sights with no intention to meet or indeed have relationships already. I have also know people who have been successful with online dating
  21. Congratulations on the weight loss and the relationship decisions - neither is easy
  22. Totally inspired ! Thanks
  23. I had these dreams - but I enjoyed them - dreams of eating food I don't bother with usually .
