Got Sleeved this morning. Everything went really well. Had a lot of pain when I got to my room. It has gotten better as the day progresses it has become less and less. Walked 20 minutes after I got to room and now have done 6 1/2 laps and about to call it a night. Pain meds have been helpful. The swabs they have me to moisten my mouth have been very helpful. Got up by myself about an hour ago so pain and flexibility are much better. Tomorrow is the leak test and then I have to hold down 8oz of Water and once those are done I am headed home!Image1499402252.330497.jpg

I was one of the lucky ones, I only had pain from my incisions. nothing else. Keep walking and walking too, I would only suggest when you get home to sip, sip, sip everything you drink during the liquid phase. you probably won't have a lot of energy the first few days. I think when you start eating real food again your energy level will take off, at least mine did. GOOD LUCK! and have a speedy recovery

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
