    I meant stone
  3. Grey tip !! As a shopaholic I appreciate that
  4. I use a mask and love it - I change from a full face to Amira View depending on wether I have hay fever or feel like it. I have lost 40kg and have around 50 more to go before I can be reassessed
  5. I haven’t got to that stage yet - but have decided that I will be making it clear it’s personal and won’t be discussing it. I work with older people in a residential setting and I know how they would love to talk my business. But I find it hard enough fitting in my tasks without having this level of conversation,
  6. When I see them this month I will let them know - I eat too much - if I am careful and don’t eat dense foods it is less likely

    Drinking.

At times especially if too soon after food my liquids can cause me to vomit. I try and have my main bulk liquids at late night after meals. I give food priority as I can’t seem to get much in
  11. I vomit at least 3 times a week - I am 3 months post sleeve, I sometimes vomit every meal - I think The main cause is spicy food, trying to drink with food or that bite too much

    No loss

I got sleeved on 28th June and am Showing no scale loss at all - yet I read others have lost 39 lbs. I am not despondent but do wonder
  13. Hi all I have the most amazing scales that track my weight and record in an app. The obsession with getting on and off them has now ended. I have worked out that the scale is not moving and it is stressful and dictates my mood. I have been sleeved two weeks tomorrow and have a follow up appointment in 4 weeks time. I will wait until then to know how much I have lost. I am happy now - I worked out it doesn't matter re the numbers -my mental health feels really stable knowing I have embarked on this journey and what I am doing can only eventually lead to weight loss. I can hardly eat and can't wait to exercise. I see a brighter future.
  14. Wow - you were lucky - I would have barfed in the buffet if I tried that
  15. The old addage "chew your drink and drink your food "is getting me through this
  16. I too have had a surprise cycle in the info from the hospital it did suggest packing sanitary towels. It appear to be pretty common to have a disrupted cycle. For me having the coil and being 50 it was indeed a surprise.
  17. I have the sam issue with something's and but never up throwing up
  18. And you still reckon your going straight back to work.its emotional
  19. Sounds like you are not being given the right pain meds - I felt no pain in hospital- I was given a pain patch as I am allergic to co- codamol - the patch lasts 7 days and with a drip of paracetamol and also eventually soluble paracetamol I was happy.

    Alcohol?

I too am a mother and understand that sometimes we need relaxation and alcohol can really hit the spot. I however have resorted to meditation I find that learning to relax takes away my need for alcohol. Also it's a really good thing to do with your child as they get older. Teaching a child how to relax can help if they develop sleep issues or anxiety. I know of somebody who has had a gastric sleeve and finds out how very easy to slip down his throat and has probably replaced one issue with another. It's always worth just keeping a check on these things I can slip very quickly. What you're suggesting in terms of drinking occasionally should not be a problem. In fact a delight. Enjoy and cheers.
  21. Why not set up a group in your area - your needs are not catered for in the industry
