The Yo-Yo of LIFE & SLEEVE
I didn't think I was an emotional or stress eater either. But now I do. I have had a good week though and beginning to be motivated again! Good luck!

I’m scared
If there are resources for you to get therapy use it! It is also very mentally challenging when you spend your entire life with different habits. I thought just eating right and exersize was enough after surgery , but if you don't know how & why you eat unhealthy to get this bad its harder to stick with plan. Just what I am experiencing 1 year out.

The Yo-Yo of LIFE & SLEEVE
The hardest for me being 1 year out is the mental aspect. I started out at 237 my lowest was 174 now I have gained about 15 lbs back. I do not want to go back to where I was. I tried one way, eating right, physical exersize. But now I am going to incorporate my mind & soul. I have started going to a support group for eating disorders. I have learned so much in 2 meetings. And I am meeting a therapist next week. Do not give up on yourself! I will not give up. I am worthy of being healthy and kind to myself as I am kind and caring to others. I will do this. I can do this. I have not come this far to give up now. Do not give up out there! Seek help.

I was 48, best thing I could have done for myself! Over 1 year out now, struggling with motivation, gained a little, I have decided to speak with a counselor before it gets too out of control. I know what to do, but sabatoging myself.

Forgiveness...anyone?
Hi! I am also having a hard time with husband feelings. I definitely know he loves me but.. he stopped being affectionate a long time ago and now I have lost almost 40 pounds he is all touchy and stuff. I am still the same person inside. Except I do most of the healthy cooking now. I am about 6 weeks out of sleeve. How do I overcome and just enjoy more of his attention? When in past I cried in myself for more from him? Any suggestions?

I know this is creepy but.....
Has anyone asked their surgeon if they would take a picture of their stomach after being removed? Just curious if anyone is as weird as me (according to my husband). Lol
