  1. I had my surgery in June. I’ve been doing great, but lately all I want to do is eat. I know holidays/this time of year is always hard. A lot of emotional eating. Please pray for me. I have gained 1 pound back and so afraid I will gain more.

  6. I am so sorry your Mom treated you that way[emoji174]
  7. My surgery was June 26. I wasn't hungry at all for the few couple weeks or so, but the last week, at least, all I want to do is eat. After a few bites, I'm so full and miserable, but I "miss" eating, and though I'm full, I want more. I've tried sugar free popsicles.... I am losing, but hate this feeling. Help?!!

  10. I am 3 weeks Post Band to Sleeve Revision, still having acid reflux and I'm taking double dose of Prilosec. In hospital, I had acid reflux so bad it caused an extra night, could barely get fluids down. It seemed to improve. I've been on regular foods a week, maybe that's the problem? I'm sitting up in bed at almost 3am due to this. My doctor mentioned if my Reflux continues he may have to revise to bypass (worst case scenario.) Any suggestions?

  13. I had mine 6/26 also!!
  14. I had my surgery.....Lap Band removal, revision to Sleeve.....almost 2 weeks ago, June 26, 2017. I am quite swelled on my upper left side incision area, and have been since surgery. Has anyone else had this swelling, or does everyone have it? I'm wondering if it was due to removal of my port, as it was a good size. I've kept ice packs on this area but can't really tell it's going down much. My doc office says as long as it's not hurting, it's ok. Maybe I'm worrying too much!! Thanks.
  15. Hi Chasity, I'm probably not far along in my Journey enough to tell you much! I just had my band removed, revision to sleeve on June 26. I am on my puréed foods this week, and can begin " real food " Monday. All I can tell you so far, when I woke up from surgery, I hurt so much more than I expected!! I had acid reflux really bad, causing me to stay a 3rd night in hospital (well, couldn't get fluids in due to acid reflux!) The reflux has settled a great deal. My incision is still quite tender, but looks wonderful. I do have swelling on my left side still, I'm thinking it's due to my port removal. I wish I could tell you more! Read all you can! I was vomiting years after my band. I have not once since this surgery[emoji41]
  16. Thanks so much for all the input!

  19. It will be 3 weeks. I've been doing great with my puréed foods this week.
  20. Can anyone tell me how you handled this? I am going out to eat Sunday after church for first time, I'm a little nervous about it.
