  1. Sorry avoid Thomas Brown not Tim. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135
  2. Weigh vs measure... I was under the impression that we should just measure out 2 ounces of food by volume in the little medicine cups not weight- is that accurate? I thought it was the size that mattered . ?? Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135
  3. I'm so sorry you are feeling so crummy! Try a cool rag and less clothing. Rest and take your pain meds. You should take your temp and call your dr if you have any fever or if you don't feel better tomorrow. Be your own advocate! I think they should keep sleeve patients in the hospital a few days- I had 3 and it was perfect. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135
  4. I had zero out of pocket. I don't know what the bills would have been. I have amazing insurance. Care first blue cross blue shield out of state. It's out of Maryland Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135
  5. I am in Colorado Springs. Dr scott fisher is amazing. Haven't heard of frank Chae. Avoid Tim brown. He nearly killed my husband Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135

  9. I've lost 24 pounds now. Probably a couple more than the second pic Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135

  13. The first pic was around. June 13 pré surgery I am on the far left. The second one was taken July 9 Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135
  14. Do you all get your protein in? It has been hard for me but when I get enough protein and my vitamins I have more energy than when I don't . I got some vitamin water today at Safeway. 15 g of protein in 16 ounces. And it tastes great. It's on sale his week 3 for $5. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135
  15. Same for me. I'm still wearing my size 16 clothes but they aren't as snug as before. I've lost 24 pounds but didn't really notice it except for under my breasts, like where my liver is. Other people have noticed. I think another 10-20 pounds and I'll really feel it....I hope! The weight isn't flying off like I thought it would but I think that's good. Healthier on the body and since I didn't tell many people about the surgery it will seem more natural. It also says a lot for how overweight I was... don't notice 24 pounds ... on a normal weight person that would be very drastic. What I have noticed is the increased energy! I'll take that! Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135
  16. Broke the stall - lost 1 pound and am now 199.4!!! Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 199 GW 135

  22. Glad you're moving around. Peppermint Green tea helped me with the gas. I hope your recovery continues to go well! Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 200 GW 135
  23. This has got to be so hard for you. Pre sleeve I got pregnant with my first daughter after losing just 15 pounds. By the time I delivered I weighed less than when I got pregnant- I gained just 13 pounds and had a 9 pound 2 ounce baby. Listen to your doc, but they will live off the fat of the land so to speak. Do your best to get all of your calories and protein in. Take your vitamins. Drink plenty of water and don't worry. Easier said than done, I know. Maybe your nutritionist can give you some more suggestions on higher impact foods for the baby's development - supplements etc. I'll be praying for a healthy development and peace of mind for you. Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 200 GW 135
  24. That is one of my frustrations- different answers from everyone. I would pick a professional or group and stick with their advice. If you trust the bariatric nurse and your surgeon stick with them. You'll get a different answer every time you ask someone else! Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 200 GW 135
  25. It's getting close [emoji847] Mich W Hw 223, SW 217 CW 200 GW 135
