Brrr…! Remember the days when you were the hottest one in the room, and all you wanted was to stop sweating? Those may be in the past. Part of the slowed metabolism can be due to your body’s new mechanism to save energy, which means turning down the thermostat. Another possibly surprising side effect of weight loss is that having less cushioning (body fat), so sitting in chairs or lying in bed can be less comfortable.

Today I actually looked small to myself! This is the lowest weight of my adult life... I cant even imagine being smaller. Only 20 lbs to goal 1 then re evaluate from there.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a status. Well, I quit my job at the beginning of the year. Yay! Now I have time to focus on my body. Been at the gym consistently this week. Thank God for muscle memory, it’s real. I’m sore but that’s a GREAT thing at this point. I’m still going strong on my WFPB lifestyle. I won’t ever turn back. I did have a little turkey one Thanksgiving and a little ham on a Christmas though. It was good but not enough to make me stumble. Lol. I’m just about 8months post (in three days) and I’m down 81 lbs from my highest and 74 from surgery. Blood work is always good and no complications ever. One of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. I’ll post pics next status.
Now, I hope I can claim all my expenses from surgery for tax time. Lol

Two weeks post op and moved to pureed foods. Made pureed white sweet potato with spices and unflavored protein. Two bites in i felt my first restriction. Anyone else feeling restriction on puree stage?
