Saying Hi: 6 years out
Thanks for coming back and sharing. I got to hand it to the ladies, but since I am a guy, I really get inspired seeing the progress that other guys who had before bodies that look like I do now make in their weight loss.

Height, Pres-Surgery weight and body type seem to be real close to me. I would kill to do as good as you in that amount of time. You are very inspiring.

Is it normal to feel this awkward?
Personally I don't feel awkward or embarrassed about the surgery at all, just the opposite. I am excited and I am ready to change. I feel awkward and embarrassed about my weight now.

Approved: July 24th
I don't know yet, my consult is the 14th. I guess I'll find out then.

July Schedule
I have my consult on the 14th and afaik now, I'm to be sleeved on the 24th. This forum and site have kept me pretty calm. I work for my father so luckily I can take all the time I need. I don't plan for anything more than a week though. Also, my wife is a RN and will be helping me immensely. I am lucky.

What should I have AT HOME immediately after surgery
Ok. Yeah, that sounds like me, big belly. I'm a bit of a light weight when it comes to pain so I'll be getting one or two of these I suspect. I mean, the same thing helped when I used it on my knee recently so I get the concept.

What should I have AT HOME immediately after surgery
Can some of the experienced members tell me what it's good to have foodwise/medwise at home following my sleeve? Should I have a good blender? etc etc..... Any insight would be appreciated.

Whoah! Amazing!

How has your life changed for the better?
NOW you tell me. Well there's no reason to get this surgery then.

I know this is creepy but.....
I wonder why you don't get to keep it if you ask. It's a piece of YOUR body.
-
Feel like giving up... -_-
Write EVERYTHING down. Track EVERYTHING. You'll know where you're going wrong and writing everything down will make you feel accountable to yourself.

I know this is creepy but.....
Or make a wine holder/bladder out of it you could take to outdoor festivals.

I seriously can't believe it! Crying from Happiness!
You look like you were hiding in the person before. I mean that in a metaphysical way. You look happy now.

How has your life changed for the better?
Wow, thank you for that detailed look at what you're going through. I really appreciate the insight. It's all motivation fuel for me at this point. I do see it as a tool. I have mentioned before it's a 2nd and last chance. I don't plan to waste it when someone is going to take a part of my anatomy out of my body to "fix" what I mismanaged (in nice terms) or "fucked up" (in not so nice terms) before.
