  1. Are you still here? How are you doing now?
  2. You know, I have to be honest, as I look at these pictures, and I have been looking at a lot of them, it has not missed me that almost EVERYONE of you that have lost look at least 10 years younger in your after picture. Yes, I want to be healthy. I want t o change my life and relationship to food, I want to be around longer for my daughter and I want to be fit..... But there are also selfish reasons and dropping ten years in looks is definitely one of them...along with buying new clothes and just looking as good as I possibly can. Can't lie. 25% of the desire is selfish reasons! lol. Am I wrong for that?
  3. Four months and 75 pounds!! How inspiring to me.....Thanks for sharing. Whoah. What I wouldn't give to be down 75 pounds in 4 months. Nice ink btw.
  4. Well cool...we'll see won't we?
  5. Kind of problem I WANT to have. Just buying clothes at Target, who doesn't go above guys XL, would be friggin sweet.
  6. Wow, that's pretty interesting. Seems like a total switch or reversal of what I thought would happen - but it makes sense. Are there any guys here that can kinda give a man who had the sleeve perspective on the same thing?
  7. Would like to hear more about this dichotomy.....
  8. Yes! That's what I'm talking about. Perfect response. Really gives me some insights! Great for yo!
  9. I am new and a few weeks away from my surgery. I've been looking at before and after pictures and of course I am wowed and motivated and excited. What I'd also like to know is if you could share stories about how the weight loss has effected your life; From the most mundane thing to the most amazing. Feelings that are different, little things that you realize have changed, big things you realized have changed, things that are easier, things that are harder, how people treat you differently or not...anything like this is what i'm interested in if you're interested in sharing.......
  10. I plan to take a boatload of pictures because I'm so inspired by looking at everyone's before and after pictures, even though they are usually a year or so apart. I want this to be successful and a new beginning so I plan on doing everything to a T and NOT failing. This to me is not a quick fix, it's a rebirth.
  11. Right now, I'm scheduled for July 24th. Fingers crossed.
  12. Please forgive me if I should be doing this elsewhere, it's my first post and I just wanted to introduce myself and say how happy I was to find this forum before my surgery. It looks like there is an overwhelming amount of information here that I will have fun digging into. I'm nervous, but excited. Can't wait to get this done. Hello.
