  1. Yes, I feel like calling bullshit on this. I have taken them whole. I am tired of doing it. They are being overly cautious, I get it.
  2. You're asking strangers on the internet if you should do body altering, mind altering, life altering surgery? Maybe you should, you know, think about this yourself.
  3. THIS is what I mean, albeit said more elegantly than I.
  4. I didn't have to do that. My surgeon was like, "Why would you have to take a leak test, I already tested you when I was in there." I was like, cool, hotshot. If you say so. And as for the IV, they just had me drag my pole in there after I unplugged it myself.
  5. It's a f**king freak show that people watch and gawk at. I'm surprised you'd want these producers anywhere near this sight. That's just my opinion.
  6. Actually, for the first week post surgery this IS what my doctor told me!
  7. If it makes you feel any better, my understanding is, yje weight coming off really doesn't start actually happening till about 6 weeks after your surgery. Tha'ts about how long it takes to heal.
  8. Just got back from my First Follow Up Visit with my surgeon a week and two days after surgery, 7/24/17. Have lost 25lbs since before and after surgery. Approved to move on to stage 2 full liquids. Have to do that for three weeks till our next visit. Bought my vitamins and protien powders. Inittowinit.
  9. I had mine on the same day and feel EXACTLY like I could have written everything you wrote. Just letting you know you're not the only one. We can do this. We will do this.
  10. Very tiny pictures, but looks great! Way to go!
  11. Just small sips every few minutes.
  12. Very very similar to me. Hang in there. We can do this!
  13. head hunger or actual hunger? If it's actual hunger, something with protein in it, protein drink does the trick. Or I have some broth/soup. If it's head hunger, well, that's just your mind screwing with you.
  14. Sorry to hear. Mine was gone by the third and fourth day. I know you are walking...just try to burp as much as you can...and you'll probably never hear this from me or anybody again, but try to fart as much as possible.
  15. Guess, what? The Losers Bench might get more people on it, but there seems to be more room always.... Think about it....
  16. Just letting you know, as I was sleeved just four days before you, YES. It'll subside. It has for me. You sound just like I did. Today I feel like a million bucks. Really really good.
  17. Damn, son! Wear them skinny jeans! Seriously though, you dress well. Great style. I bet it's easier to be stylish like that now, huh?
  18. Mine was just Monday. I'm still on the post op clear liquids. The pain of my incisions is the only "pain" I have and that is ALMOST gone. Glad to be past that part. Since I started the PRE op liquid diet and now am on the post op clear liquid diet, I am really friggin tired of it and I want to chew something so badly. I'm just doing what the doc ordered. I'm not officially recording anything, but I've lost 26lbs or so since the 14th of this month.
  19. My inspiration is written right here. Dude, besides being 1 inch taller than me, what you have lost seems to be EXACTLY what I'm looking to get out of this...just had my surgery this past Monday.
  20. Why would a doctor tell you to eat ANY fast food at all? Why would you want to put that back into your body after doing something this serious? I just don't get it.
  21. Why would you want to go home - Heating Pad, Golden Girls, Carnation Instant Brkfst and people bringing it to you while you lie in bed.....sounds like heaven, girl!
  22. Way to go you!!!!! Just was there, it gets easier, but these first two days are Suckville - population You. 4 days later it gets better exponentially.
  23. Small sips, persistence. Small sips, persistence Repeat Small sips, persistence Also anti nausea medicine and naps. You can do it!!!!
