Congratulations and let us know if we can be of any help.

Great! Take it slow, and don't worry about what you are NOT eating, but what you are eating.

Welcome to the losers bench! !![emoji4]

Just was there, it gets easier, but these first two days are Suckville - population You.

4 days later it gets better exponentially.

It does feel great to have the surgery over with. I feel really tired, nauseated, and have awful gas pains. I graduated from ice chips to small sips of water. Tomorrow, I get to have an instant breakfast. I'm using hot pads on my tummy and walking every time I get up to pee. Really looking forward to moving past this stage.

This sugar free instant breakfast is the best thing I've ever tasted. Taking very small sips and watching the golden girls on TV. Still on IV fluids. Still using the heating pad. I very much hope they'll let me go home today!

Yess, enjoy it! I was in a rush to get out of the hospital too (i was outpatient, but they told me to stay as long as i wanted), but now i wish i could be back there. The bed is comfy, the blankets are warm, and mostly importantly, the pain meds go straight into my IV.
