  1. Had surgery done on 3/18/08. Surgeon advised not using a straw. I have also had a lot of burping, but no bowel movement yet (hope I'm not being to forward......) The gas they put in your stomach has to go someplace, so I figured it might just be coming up in burps!!!! Not sure if this helps, but maybe??
  2. I've been on this liquid diet for 5 days :frown:. My urine is starting to smell like chicken broth :frown:!!!! But, I have lost 10 pounds, so I guess chicken broth is not a bad price to pay........LOL. My starting weight was 239, and today I weighted in at 229. I guess I don't miss the chocolates too much:sad_smile::wub::sad_smile: Can someone please let me know when I'm to start the Protein shakes, and if there is one in particular that you love?? Thanks, and next time I sign on, you'll see less of me:thumbup:
  3. I was exactually like you. I would not eat at lot at any meals, then would pig out on sweets, or chips (sour). I had surgery last Tuesday, March 18, 2008, and as of today I have lost 10 pounds. I did not know if this would work for me, as I have tried all kinds of diets. So far, so great!!! Good Luck
