Had surgery done on 3/18/08. Surgeon advised not using a straw. I have also had a lot of burping, but no bowel movement yet (hope I'm not being to forward......) The gas they put in your stomach has to go someplace, so I figured it might just be coming up in burps!!!!

Not sure if this helps, but maybe??

I burp a ton (my kids say it is gross) and to make matters worse, it is not a poliet burp....it is a LOUD:ohmy: LONG:embaressed_smile: one...sometimes it feels like 3 minutes.
