  1. Don’t feel bad I’m there too
  2. I’m in the same boat. I went to my 1 week follow up after my liquid diet and I actually GAINED 2-5 pounds! Talk about discouraged. I’m hoping and praying that it’s just water retention, but I’m going to do my best and become more active after I heal.

  4. I use the Celebrate Mult-Vitamin with iron. I use the capsules because I didn’t like the consistency of the chewable. They were too powdery to me but the taste was not bad. They have the most nutrients from the comparison of others that I’ve seen. By the way I was fine with them before surgery, but after surgery it changed. So do the samples so you don’t have too many that you don’t like

  8. Thank you ladies. Both great advice. I’ll try and track my surgeon down although it is very difficult to reach him.
  9. I appreciate any information that you can share with me because I do not have a team. Right now my doctors office does not have a nutritionist or dietitian. My surgeon actually said he was not concerned about weight loss but more concerned with my Gerd. So I’m kind of new at this. I’m just going by the directions that I got from my sleeve surgery. But I think that there is a difference and I have no one to ask but everyone on here. So I really really appreciate your response and any other little tidbits you can share.
  10. OK I get the intermittent fasting method burns better than regular eating. My problem is I’m confused on whether to do the fasting during the day or at night. So confused I don’t know what to do. I am 10 weeks out from a revision from sleeve to bypass should I be trying this fasting right now or is it only during maintenance?

  12. My revision from sleeve to gastric bypass was May 23, 2019. I am still having to battle my addiction to sugar. It’s a tool and sometimes were able to cheat but I have to learn how to stop emotionally eating and kick the sugar out the door.

  18. Yes! Me too! I will be 6 weeks out as of tomorrow. I feel like I don’t even have a pouch. I want to get an X-ray to be sure. lol. I too stop from eating because I don’t want to stretch my pouch. I am getting about 500/600 calories a day. My nutritionist got promoted so I’m on my own til they find a replacement. I need to know if I’m doing the right things. I have no guidelines like I did with the sleeve. I know I am to eat less. But how much less because I don’t get full.
  19. So you basically answered my question. Of the two which one is more important to get in? Thanks. I’m thinking water too. Definitely don’t want to get dehydrated!
  20. Hmmm That’s a good idea. I think I will try it. I have several episodes on my DVR.
  21. Great job! Congratulations!
  22. I hope you can dig up that article it would be great. The information that you have given me so far helps out quite a bit. I usually drink Premier clear protein which has about 20 g of protein. I wanted to try protein 2.0 but I don’t know how it tastes. I’m beginning to see that it’s more important to get the water then the proteins or both in one .
  23. Elcee I am almost 6 weeks post op. If I’m getting ready to go to bed and I haven’t had my quota of water or protein, which one should I try to get in before I go to bed? Is it better to try and get all the protein in or all the water?
  24. Hello everyone. I am trying to find out which is better water or protein drink? I asked my surgeon and he told me to eat veggies. I don’t think he understood my question. It’s 7pm and I don’t have 60 grams of protein or 60 ounces of water. Which is best to have? Do I concentrate on the protein or the water? Also if I have reached my daily goals and have time and appetite should I do my clear protein or regular water? I can’t seem to find an answer to this so I thought I would pose it here.
