It isn't a bad idea if beef and chicken don't agree with you. I hate labels though, because there may be a perfectly digestible dish that has bacon bits in it, and suddenly you can't have it because it contains pork.
Of course, for people with religious preferences, etc.. those food restrictions are important identity-makers. But it sounds like steering clear of non-digestible foods will be born from physical comfort, rather than spiritual comfort. Thus.. no real reason for the label
Sorry to hear about you hating to eat.. does it hurt? I enjoy eating as much as I ever did, maybe more so (things taste better).

At this point you've been through all the preparation and decision-making. You know this is a better option than the health risks associated with obesity. It's a very safe surgery--very low rate of complications: That's not a guarantee, but if it were the lottery, you'd like the odds. Take a deep breath, stay calm as you can, and look to the future. It can be fantastic! Good luck.

...so today, I told my mother in law that I was having WLS and getting sleeved Friday (28-Jul). She told me to save myself the recovery and just stop eating french fries. Where was that helpful information all along?!?!?! LOL
In all seriousness, I am in the process of getting approved for time off after my surgery and the short term benefits manager at my company literally told me that if I utilized the work gym, I wouldn't have to take time off to "deal with this now".

Seriously, WTF people. Its hard enough making the decision I made, so not very thankful for the peanut gallery!
I am trying to stay positive and blocking out all the judgy comments. I am hoping that will be easier when I can rock an "I told you so" body.

I got the news yesterday that Im penciled in for August 3rd! Im based in England, I don't think I saw anyone who isn't from the states, but hi all super excited and super nervous
