  1. I suggest you call your surgeon office and they should be able to direct you. How are you feeling suicidal? R u planning harming yourself in some particular way? R u spiritual?
  2. Sorry that you are having these issues and hope things get better for you. Are you having to go to infusion center daily? What is your doctor telling you?
  3. My husband actually had the gastric bypass December 2016 and I had the sleeve 5/9. So yes, we are doing it together, he is just leading! [emoji846]
  4. I too am POD #6, yesterday I had the urge to just lick the spoon of something that my husband had cooked, LOL [emoji23], but I didn't. We got this! We can do it!
  5. I too am an adult, I do not drink alcohol, do I feel as if "I short them"....NEVER. If chose to order off a kids menu, would I feel that "I short them", not at all. I feel that is depends on the type restaurant re:quality of food on menus and not a fast food type restaurant with poor choices.
  6. I also had surgery on 5/9. Morning of surgery at hospital I weighed 228, once I was discharged home the next evening, I weighed in at 234.6...I was up 6.6 lbs! I currently weigh 226.4 lbs as of this morning. So I have lost 8.2 lbs, but 6.6 lbs were from hospital fluids. So actually I've lost 1.6 lbs! HA So my body has been through a lots in 6 days! Hang in there and we will start sending results soon, I hope!
  7. I was wondering if anyone received a card stating you had WLS and that you should/could order from kids menu? If so, when did you get it?
  8. Welcome to the group & Congratulations!
  9. Today has been my worst day, sorta feeling drained. I had been doing extremely well, getting the fluids and protein in, although today I'm behind. The incisional soreness at umbilical site is killing me but the pain medication helps. I even went outside and walked a bit yesterday, today I have no get up and go. I'm looking forward to a better tomorrow. Glad that you are doing well.
  10. I'm so sorry Carlita42 that you are having to go through this. I will keep you in my prayers and pray for complete healing for you with a speedy recovery! Keep the faith!!!
  11. Hope your pain gets better soon! Maybe try a ice pack to stomach, put it in pillow case or something. It just helps to numb pain and helps with swelling. This too shall pass!
  12. How r you doing post op? I also was sleeved on 5/9!
  13. Wondering how everyone that had surgery on the 9th are doing? I'm doing well except for the incisional soreness which is to be expected!
  14. That's a great problem to have![emoji12]
  15. Maybe try pudding? Put some pudding the add crushed meds than put more pudding on top.
  16. Did you get your date yet? [emoji16]
  17. I am on day 2 and so far so good, although yesterday I did have the urge to grab something to else but had to remember I'm on liquids! We got this, we can do it...7 days to go! What time are you all scheduled for surgery? I'm scheduled for 0700! Good Luck to all!
  18. Awesome, looking good! You go girl!
  19. I can relate, I'm thinking my boss has had loose lips as well! I informed her and told her I wasn't telling anyone else. On Friday there was a conversation at the station about someone having a gastric sleeve and losing 100 pounds. Also there was another conversation about someone losing weight on weight watcher. It could be a coincidence but I doubt it...my boss has loose lips! [emoji35]
  20. I know most if not all people loose hair or it thins badly? I was just wondering if by chance if some people didn't, if so did you do anything differently? Any additional routines or supplements?
  21. I had to do a monthly visit with my PCP for 4 months. The day I left my PCP office, I called surgeon office (while still sitting in parking lot [emoji6]) and schedule an appointment. Once paperwork was submitted I was officially approved for procedure in 3 days!
  22. Awesomeness! You look amazing! Congratulations!!!
