My paperwork was submitted Monday afternoon and I was approved yesterday, although I didn't find out until today! [emoji16][emoji1433] Surgery scheduled May 9th!

I was in office on Monday and they said they were working on it to submit, so I called the next day to see if it was submitted! I have great news called insurance today about something else and just asked about my status so they said I was approved yesterday. I then called the office and told them, they checked and confirmed! [emoji16][emoji1433]

Congratulations!!! Exciting!

I've also did my double checking, the office said they were sending it in on Monday, I called office on Tuesday to confirm that they sent it in, then I called insurance on today to make sure they had it! Now I'm just patiently waiting! Good luck to you! Did your surgeon give you a tentative date? Mine is May 9th pending approval!

My paperwork was submitted yesterday to my insurance and I am anxiously awaiting approval. I have a tentative surgery date of May 9th! Excited & nervous!!!

Too clarify, you have gained weight since your initial visit with your surgery? If so, my surgeon told me that I couldn't gain weight from my initial visit, if I did that insurance would deny me. It may be different for different insurances. Have you been approved yet?

Out of curiosity I tried the turkey and added a little Mrs Dash and it wasn't so bad, without Mrs Dash it was very Bland.

My NUT actually recommended baby food as an option for Pureed phase.

This great information that I did not know, I was planning on working day before also. I'm still in the pre-op phase, so I will surely ask my surgeon! Good Luck to you! [emoji2]

I'm still pre-op but was just trying to get ideas and prepare. I saw a brand by BeechNut, it was turkey and turkey broth.

Hi Audrey! I'm hoping to have sleeve in May as well? I have my last appointment with PCP next week. Have you been approved for surgery yet?

I am also a nurse who is planning to have the sleeve next month. I don't have my surgery date yet, I will finish my pre-op appointments on the 20th of this month. I have told my nurse manager who is really cool and have planned to take two weeks off. I am looking forward to seeing how other nurses are doing once they go back to work.
