You are missing my point patty. It is wrong to deny someone help, such as food and medical care, for any reason. It doesn't matter what sin they commit, prostitution, smoking, drinking, eating too much, it is still wrong to deny ANYONE help.

So am I!! Especially since she is supposed to be a christian! If Jesus were here, he wouldn't keep food from anyone, no matter that they had done. patty, sin is sin. God doesn't see one sin as any better or worse than another sin. God sees gluttony and prostitution the same. Just because we may want to believe that one sin is better than another doesn't make it so. That is why he says "Judge not fot you shall also be judged." I think you decided to leave that part of the bible out.

I don't think having an elective c section is a good idea. People think it's no big deal, but it is major surgery. You are cut open. It takes you a longer time to heal. There are too many risks involved in having one expecially if you don't need it.

LOL! And exactly HOW would they pay for it out of their own pockets?! I used to be poor and I lived in a very bad part of town. I knew a lot of prostitutes. My aunt was one. From what I have seen, most prostitutes (not all) are drug addicts and they are prostituting to make money for drugs. So prostitution doesn't have the easy answer of just making them get other jobs. Most of these women (again, not all) have mental problems, were sexually and physically abused, are drug addicts, etc. So the problem is much deeper. So according to patty, we should just make them pay for their medical care out of their own pocket?! ROFL!!!! Oh yea, since I'm guessing that most of us on here have (or had) the sin of being fat, I guess if we fall on hard times, lose our jobs and our houses, I guess we should all be turned away from the food banks because we are all too fat. Afterall, we can live for a little while on all the fat we have stored....

I think the title of this article is all wrong. It should have been something like, "How to enjoy salad even with the band" or something like that. This was just a terribly written article.

I seem to be the only one who Ambien doesn't work for, lol! Yea, it is good that it went generic. I wish Lunesta would. I can get it free at work when we have samples, but otherwise it costs me $60 a month, and that is with my insurance.

I have suffered from insomnia all my life. Like you, I have tried everything. Ambien didn't work for me. Have you tried Lunesta? It is the only thing that has worked for me. It only takes me a few minutes to fall asleep after I take it. The best thing about it is it doesn't make you feel all sleepy the next day. By the time you wake up, it is out of your system. I don't take it every night, just a few times a week. But I work in a doctor's office and we have patients that take it every night with no problems. I don't think it has the same side effects as Ambien.

Yea, that's about average pay here too. My sister used to do it. With all the money vets make, they could afford to pay more.

I love salads! I will get grilled chicken salads, but I eat the chicken first. So I am still following the band rules. If I go to a restaurant and they serve salad first, I will save it until the rest of my meal comes and eat it last. I agree that we don't need to fill up on lettuce, but there are still ways to enjoy salads and still follow the rules.

I am starving in the mornings too. But I have given up on trying to eat. Now I just drink a giant cup of coffee with cream. Not the best breakfast, but it's better than nothing.

No, she goes to trial in October I think. They were going to have the trial this past March, but then the DA decided to pursue the death penalty, so I think that's why it has been moved up. They are trying to find her a lawyer that specializes in death penalty cases.
