    They are good carbs & the less ripe the less carbs. They are perfectly ok to eat especially pre-workout. Carbs before exercise & Protein after!

    I also use small baby plates, ALL food is away where it belongs (out of sight out of mind) food that is not mine is placed furthest out of reach (too bad everyone) , I have to have a reason to eat (scheduled) otherwise it's tea time, coffee break, or enjoy this artisinal Water Tealael (that you paided way too much for BTW)

    I share your problem & can’t say I don’t have a snack every now & then but I mostly eat easy prep lean Protein & produce. Look at my Instagram page at, “ my_tiny_healthy_plate “. I use a lot of fresh fruits and veggies but I also like Birdseye protein veggie packs & Veggie pastas. Their easy & delicious with enough variety to change it up for over a week. Walmart has the best price I’ve found so far. Fortunately for us a little goes a long ways.

    I would go down to the County Courthouse and file for a divorce. If she cant be supportive then she wont be supportive after the surgery.

    I had rotor cuff surgery and it took me quite awhile to wake up from the anesthesia. Fast forward eight years,when I told my wife that I was getting WLS she wasn't supportive at all. She worried that I would not wake up this time. I told her that I was going ahead with the surgery (Doctors had no problem with the effects of anesthesia) and that if she wasn't supportive she couldn't be a part of the journey. I would find another family member to be by my side. After careful thought she changed her position. I'm so glad she did, I really needed her to be with me and to be a part of this. Sometimes it isn't lack of support but fear of the unknown that stops others from supporting us.

    Yes delicious had it for lunch keeps me full & no problems. I added some Turkey meatballs & Parmesan cheese.

    Don’t get me wrong I do prefer fresh fruits and veggies but I’ve been using these a lot when I’m in need of a decent meal or side & time is an issue. They’re so delicious & packed with nutrients. In a few minutes time you can have a meal & side ready to eat. They are fairly new but it really can’t get much easier than this!

    I am also hitting the gym hard!! I hired a personal trainer last week and am meeting with her once a week and doing the exercises on my own in between - I want to do lots of weights to build muscle and counteract the loose skin problem before it starts.
    I also started the Couch to 5K running program yesterday. I used to be a runner, even did a half-marathon years ago, but haven't for a long time. Trying to run with 42 excess pounds already gone is AWESOME! So much easier than when I tried last year.
    Re: playlists, I do a different thing - I listen to comedians on podcasts/shows. Laughing makes the time, esp. on treadmill, go so much faster. I also listen to audiobooks and ONLY allow myself to listen to the book at the gym, so I'm anxious to go back to find out what happens next!

    Only lost 2 pounds in the last 18 days. On the good side I had to hold my shorts up with one hand while running 7 mph on the treadmill or they would’ve been around my ankles while I shot across the room like a missile! I’ve held out as long as I can. Time to skip a size & drop from 2XL to a Large.
