12 days post op
Ok Good! My trash can was blowing all over the place outside because it was real windy. I had to go get it from somebody else's property. It felt real light. It is plastic and was empty. I believe it weighed About 5 lbs. I just want to be sure everything should be OK.

Discouraging news... can someone help me with understanding this?
All I know is my primary DR. Had to write a letter recommending this surgery would be good for me based on my medical problems. He knew I tried many attempts to lose Weight but failed. This letter was also given to surgeon. I had also joined a gym. I did everything and still had to get approval before surgery. They still had to review. everything. They required I do 7 month program.

Digestive Question
After surgery I went 3-4 times a day. Now I am on puree and noticed it slowed down. I go 1-2 times a day now.

4days Post op Feeling like why did I do this to myself
I gained 7 lbs when return home after surgery. It is from all the fluid they pump in you to keep you hydrated. But I lost the 7lbs plus 4 lbs in 7 days. Make sure you get 64 fl Oz of liquid in or close to it everyday. If lightheadedness continues than call your DR.

What to tell people?
Lesson learned! I told a lot of people thinking they would be happy for me because of my health. BUT instead I got a lot of negative response. I heard jealousy and envy from some people. BUT that's ok because this is my life and I know what is best for me. These people have health issues themselves. I can't worry about what people think.

I might be crazy. I went skiing 2.5 weeks post op.
I can understand feeling good after surgery because I felt really great!!! BUT there are some limitations to what you can do do you can heal on the inside. You should have consulted with your DR. Before going skiing. I would have been afraid of falling and shaking my body up which could cause harm. Maybe you should have scheduled your surgery after skiing.

I don't like the way I feel
Could be from anesthesia. I had many surgeries and anesthesia made me nauseated for several days. Before I went in for surgery I told the anesthesiologist to give me something for nausea. He did. I had no vomiting or nausea at all and I am 9 days post op.

Trouble with Vitamins
I think everyone should respect each others opinion. True! Everybody is different on what they can handle and can't. I learned since using this support Group that a lot of people are told to do different things by NUT And surgeon pre and post op. Which is correct according to that particular person. BUT the core of it all is we all are having WLS. We should be building each other up and not tearing each other Down. We all have something in common.
