  1. I weighed my pros and cons Plus this support group really helped. I was so scared and anxious that I was going to cancel until I got on this site The day before my surgery. The responses I received was so encouraging that all that fear I had was gone.

  4. Regular vitamin water has 32 g of sugar in it. Vitamin zero has no sugar.
  5. I was told to not ever take ibuprofen (aleve, advil etc) They can cause stomach bleeding. Believe me I know. Had emergency surgery because of continued use of aleve several years ago.
  6. I am 3 weeks post op. I had diarrhea real bad one day Last week. I called drs. Office and was told this is normal. I probably ate something that did not agree or some sweeteners Can cause this. It stopped that night. I realize 2 things I ate did not Agree.
  7. Don't over pack. I just needed charger and loose fitting clothes to wear home. The hospital supplied everything Else I needed. Oh! Take some GAS X STRIPS with you. They work!!!!
  8. You should be losing weight. Maybe your activity level is low. Try walking longer walks. I am losing very well because I exercise everyday. Water aerobics is good too.
  9. I was given Clearance to go to gym 2 wks post op. I do treadmill and elliptical.

  11. Thank you. I am 3 weeks post op. I called drs. Office and was told it is normal. Could be something I ate did not agree. I do have IBS Before surgery.
  12. I was cleared to go to gym and do treadmill Walking week 2 post op. I can't lift over 10 lbs yet. I have lost 20 lbs.
  13. Anybody have diarrhea 3-4 was post op?
  14. How long does it take before you can lift over 10 lbs or weights post op?

  16. You will be fine. I was scared too but realize now it is the best thing I have done.
  17. My Dr recommended several Ones to see. Insurance should pay for it or portion of it.
  18. It will pass. I never regretted after surgery. I really had a good experience. Just keep walking as much as you can. You have swelling right now. Once swelling goes down some it gets better. DON'T forget that protein helps with healing!
  19. Greek Yogurt with no sugar or less than 7 g sugar is [emoji26]15 g protein
  20. Congratulations [emoji3]! This journey is for you not for them. I am 17 days post op and the best decision I made. I feel GREAT!!!
