Struggling with fatigue and lethargy
Once you get further into the eating phases you will feel so much better! Even being able to drink more helps. I felt the exact same, now I have so much energy!

Great advice. Thank you!

Not losing :(
I agree with what everyone else posted! I also switched up my work out. I found doing the same thing didn't really work well for me so I switched it up! good luck!

Thinking about weightloss surgery but I have an Issue.
I agree with all the above comments. Definitely start off slow with exercise. As you lose weight, it all becomes easier. The requirements of surgery are set by your insurance and/or your surgeon. My insurance had no time requirements but my surgeon required six months of meetings and nutrition appointments. I know it seems like a long time but it went by fast and it taught me some great habits. Good luck!

What are you treating yourself to once you hit your goal weight???
A brand new wardrobe. I've been grabbing a fewer cheaper items to get me through but I can't wait to do shopping for "real"

Learning to run after bariatric surgery.
I started running about 7 weeks ago and can run for 22 mins straight (doing the couch to 5k) My first 5k is next weekend and it's so addictive. The app is great and really knows how to get you going!

Alcohol! When did you first drink
That's what I was thinking! I'll wait until at least 6 months (I'm a little over 2) and try it at home first. I wasn't a big drinker before (lightweight) so I can't imagine I'd tolerate even one.

What are the best vitamins??
I had the sleeve and take the pill bariatric vitamin. I just started taking them about six weeks post op.

Issues with certain foods
I'm almost vegetarian. I had my surgery August 8 and when I !could eat whatever, meat went down fine. Now the smell really bothers me. I can certain things (one egg, sometimes, or a slice of bacon.) I eat a lot of smoothies, tofu and other things to get my nutrients. I do love all veggies so this really isn't an issue for me

Congratulations!- Just curious -- Has Anyone Been Denied by Ins. for Losing Too Much Pre-Surgery?
I was told that they go by the initial appointment number. I lost about 22 lbs pre op which put me under 40bmi and I was still approved.- Working out and weightloss
I started running and the past week my appetite is more but I'm still losing. I just make sure if I grab something it's high in protein and low in everything else!- Exercise
I started running yesterday. It seems to work well for me for now to increase the exercise. I'll work on adding other things as time goes on.- Exercise
Thank you! I'm so terrified of getting a hernia. But I'm not doing any heavy lifting. Mostly cardio to start. I just signed up for a 5k!- Exercise
When did you start REALLY exercising? I've been walking and such (sometimes multiple times a day) but I just bought a rower and want to start! My doctor said 4-6 weeks was okay as I was healing well and I'm at this mark. However, I still feel a bit of pulling on the main incision after being on my feet for hours (I'm a college professor and on my feet all day). Just looking to see when people started a more intense exercise routine. I want to start toning up! BTW, had my surgery (sleeve) August 8th. Thanks, everyone!- Progress Pics - 4.5 Months Out
Wow! You look great. I used to hate shopping now I want to so bad. BUT I'm trying to wait haha. By the way, I'm in Massachusetts too- Hit a milestone today!
Fantastic! Congratulations!- Surgery yesterday -- what have I done?
I would really call. It sounds like you're in way more pain then you should be. I had loads of gas pain but I could get up and walk around throughout the day. i missed a that you are feeling better! I'm so glad!- From size 24 to a 10
Wow! You look so great and super healthy and happy. I had to grab a top for a themed party this coming weekend and it was a medium. I was so happy! Keep it up. you look amazing!- Surgery yesterday -- what have I done?
I'm sorry that you are feeling so horrible. It was a few days out for me before I could move around and not be in pain. I didn't feel too bad though. Big hugs and hope you feel better and more like yourself.- Dumping with sleeve?
I've only had it once and noticed it was when I ate way too fast. Hopefully, this doesn't remain consistent for you. - Onederland!
