  1. I was done with my entire process in June and didn't have surgery until August. My information had to be submitted to insurance (which took about two weeks to submit) and then I was scheduled for the beginning of August.
  2. I have to force myself to eat. I'm not as far along in recovery as you are but I get it!
  3. I was sleeved 8/8 and doing well! Finally feeling like my old self again.
  4. This is great. I'm two days for a month post op and finding I am getting obsessed with the scale. I like your stats because it shows some weeks will be high, others not so much! I've lost 20lbs in a month and I know some people lose more but I am happy!
  5. The drinks I drink aren't shakes but protein water! I'm so sick of shakes! Haha
  6. 65-80. I do drink at least two of the protein drinks (trimino) a day. And I'm able to meet my goal!
  7. Hi! I love Trimino! Big Y/Amazon (has it in bulk, BJs and even CVS/Walgreens has it!
  8. I drink trimino protein water. It was 7g of protein per bottle! No calories or anything added other than vitamins. It's been the best tasting in my opinion so far! I get mine at Amazon or Big Y/Bjs/Costco has them. Even CVS and Walgreens. I'm almost a month post op and don't drink shakes anymore. I am hitting my protein. The key for me is to eat frequently and always pick something that has some protein. Usually, I'll have a babybel light cheese. Only 30 calories, it's semisoft and goes down easy and has about 6grams of protein! It all adds up!
  9. I've never been a big cook but I've been doing things in bulk to save for a few days or like everyone else said, using my crock pot prior to surgery. Also, I find I am more willing to cook and try yummy new things now that I am losing weight and wanting to stick with it!
  10. I haven't had a period in years due to my IUD. I have been spotting for the past three weeks since surgery. My surgeon says it's normal with rapid weight loss and can go either way for people!
  11. I do white fish! Tuna in the can or tiplapia have worked well for me!
  12. Congratulations on the 30lbs. I heard plateau is normal. Have you been cleared to exercise yet?
  13. Boredom is exactly my issue already and I'm not quite three weeks post op.
  14. I'm about 3 weeks post op and can drink way more in one sitting! I was so discouraged at first but time really is the key!
  15. I only told a few family members and that's it. I'm sure I'll share with more maybe later on
  16. I honestly never thought about that. I am about a 16/18 now and would be content at a 9/10.
  17. So glad to read this! I'm writing down all my drinks and ounces because it's taking me forever and I am lacking! This forum has been extremely helpful.
  18. I virtually told only a hand full of people. Not even my closest friends. I still only told a few friends a few days after the surgery. I didn't want the negativity because this was a long and thought-out process that I wanted to do regardless of what people thought. Don't let them get to you!
  19. The gas pains! Everyone told me that they would be bad but oh boy! I'm 3 days post op and have been walking a lot. And the bloating. None of my pants fit which can be discouraging but it will go down!
  20. I'll be in the same boat soon with Tricare! I hope they don't take too long!
