I wore the outfit that I planed to go home in. I packed a clean pair of underwear and a gown and housecoat. I brought Chloraseptic throat spray and that's the only thing I used. My throat hurt after surgery. I didn't use the dry mouth wash or the gas strips. I remember sleeping after they made me walk. I had to force sips of fluid. Pack light.

Hi all, I was sleeved Thursday morning 8/10/17. I am now on day three. I have no appetite so I am forcing down my shake. I really would know long long it took before you could drink normally without sipping. I know the purpose of sipping but not how long.

I would probably expose them but I'm petty. Lol

OMG, I was thinking the same. I have done a keto diet before and it worked. I think there is somekind of kick back epsecially since they required 3 of the shakes a day. I would do better if I had the soups or bars. I hope your surgery went well!

Hi all, Has anyone or is anyone currently experiences pain while on Optifast? I have the strict plan of only Optifast shakes, bars or soups and celery, cucumber and SF Popsicles. I woke this morning with severe cramps like I had diarrhea but I didn't. I had to lay down and go into work a little later. I feel gassy and bloated too. I know I can make it. Plus I am already down 15 lbs. I can get past hunger but pain is something else.

That was VERY unprofessional of your benefits manager. I would lodge a compliant with their boss.

How are you having them? I add ice, unsweetened coco powder and splenda and make a smoothie. It helps. But I am so over it that my appetite is basically gone and and I just chugging my 3 shakes and two soups at night.

I am still hanging in there. I am down 15 pounds. I have 15 more days to go.

Thanks so much! I am already starting to adjust. I am not feeling hungry. Now, I am just strategizing to keep from cheating like drinking a shake before I cook, etc.

Hi All, Did anyone do or is anyone doing the Optifast 800 for a month? My diet consists of 5 Optifast items three of which must be shakes. I can have a cup of cucumbers, Sf popsicle, 1 cup of SF jello or 1 celery stick (1 or two a day). I am starving. Any advice?
