    Nobody on here is anti carb - these are clearly healthy foods however they will spike your blood sugar and leave you wanting more and leave you crashing very shortly after. Not to mention they also slide through your pouch. The solid advice given to us by bariatric surgeons is to eat dense Protein first before anything else.

    Because you're eating slider foods! Porridge, papaya, banana, yogurt = slider foods deluxe.
    And btw? You didn't mention you were male and 6'1". Yet another piece of the critical puzzle.
    Eat dense Protein first for satiety along with healthy fats.
    THEN eat dense veggies to your volume prescription. (mine is 1c/meal max)
    THEN eat berries, nuts, seeds if you still have room.
    Avoid the carby stuff.
    You will dramatically reduce your cravings, the number of times you eat, and up your weight loss.
    But I will tell you? 55lbs for a 6'1" guy in 6months? Is crap weight loss. You are SQUANDERING your honeymoon period by eating too many carbs and too many cals for rapid weight loss. The end. Don't squander your honeymoon period. It will NEVER EVER EVER come again.

    Try papaya enzyme tablets instead...
    You can over eat healthy foods too, unfortunately. Check with your nutritionist.
    But you do want to continue weight loss, correct? Try some of the suggestions given. They are crafted with good intentions. Promise. 💜

    What foods are allowed on your surgeon’s plan? Do you have a print out?
    I can’t stress enough to log your food. You will never know how many calories and carbs your eating unless you log them. You can’t guess your way through weight loss. Restriction alone will not make you successful in the long term.

    Processed carbs are going to make you crave them more and make you hungry. Seriously, I hope you are not eating 267 carbs in the estimate below. My carb range is 55 grams of plant and low glycemic carbs.
    You didn’t give brands or how many ounces/serving sizes you ate. This is a estimated based on the information you gave. If this is correct you are eating weight gaining calories and macros – You can log your information correctly and get a better look at what you are doing with your diet

    your diet is pretty heavy on carbohydrates. I suspect you might be one of those people who are carb sensitive (a lot of us on here are). Eating carbs just makes carb sensitive people crave more carbs- thus, hunger. Try swapping some of those carbs out for Proteins - eggs, meat, cheese, yogurt (I know you already do eat some of these). Many of us are told to eat Protein first, then non-starchy vegetables, and then if we have room left, a piece of fruit or a small amount of whole grains. I'm not particularly carb sensitive, but I rarely have more than one fruit serving a day, and maybe a small serving or two of whole grains. I try to focus on mostly proteins and vegetables. And for Snacks, I always pick a protein or else pair a protein with a carb (like apple slices with peanut butter). I rarely eat a carb by itself.

    That's why I ask you to LIST EVERYTHING YOU'RE EATING! Gah. How hard is it to do that?
    At 6 months I'd lost most of my weight. At 9 months out I was at 1st goal of 150 and surpassed the weight goal my RD/doc had set for me. I'm now at 14 months working on my last Goal #3 of 130lbs. I'm at 137.8lbs today. So I'm clearly doing something right. There are stalls all the time. I continue to eat the foods that I know work for me. I meet my lean Protein goals for the day, I keep my healthy veggie carbs low, I keep fat low. I keep calories in a range of 650-850/day for losing mode. And that's what I do. It works. You cannot game the system. If you are stuck for months, then you are clearly eating too much or too much of the wrong things for weight loss. It's as simple as that. You are maintaining. Or regaining.

    I take 2 drugs that can cause weight gain. And I have to be extra sharp to eat to my calorie/macro window so I can lose. Weight loss isn't impossible with underlying issues, it is just a matter of being much, much harder.

    Have the other 4 already started on the 28 day diet? Or are you waiting for more people to join?
    I get that the rules mean that a person can’t have bariatric surgery at any time within the 28 days. They are not saying that a person doesn’t qualify if they have the surgery before or after. I hope that more people will join. This may help me to get motivated to get some more weight off.

    Summer56 any type of repetitive movement over a period of time will increase your heart rate which is beneficial. Best thing to is to speak to a physiotherapist to help you identify the best exercises as well as what your target heart rate should be. Eventually working your way up to walking

    I completely understand how you feel. Ive been at 174 forever. Surgery 1/19/18.......... SW 244 CW 174..I'm trying to get to 170 it was 165 but aye 170 is tough enough. I messed up alot over the holidays but I'm on it again. I'm exercising again slowly but its coming along. I'm going to do a reset by starting over from the beginning with the liquids. I gave myself a reality check..I'm making sure I dont go over 1000 calories and dropping some old habits I gradually picked back up. But you got this....check into diet plans and see what works for you...BE VERY HUMBLY PROUD 60 pounds is still great but I do understand again that last 10 pounds. I pray we both can get those last few pounds out the way...IM PUSHING FOR YA....."I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME"

    Hello January 2018 sleevers...I was sleeved on the 18th. Starting weight 244 now 174. I have been on a stall for 2 months now. My goal weight is 165 and seems like I can't get there. It's been such a challenge, I have been messing up slowly but surely...eating chips dips cookies😭😭i know i know..but i still work out 3 days week to help me at least not gain. Had anyone else appetite picked up because mine has DEFINITELY increased I'm always feeling hungry.

    I won't be surprised if most doctors and hospitals still have their own "bariatric program" They'll probably be similar in length just to stay competitive. Ultimately a lot of customers/patients are going to be looking at going to whatever place can get them to surgery day the quickest.
