Is it possible to build muscle after the sleeve? I'm about to find out.
Thanks for the update! I'm pre op and I lift but not effectively. I'm just using resistance bands with a bar, and an ab roller. I LOVE the roller. I can definitely see some results. Everywhere really. Hope to keep this up for life!

Please send me some music
Tremelo was interesting. It's so refreshing to hear something unlike anything I've ever heard before. I've never even heard of the genre Trip Hop. Will have to see what else there is.

You're kind enough to help me in my hour of need, of course I'm going to listen to it. All genre are welcome. I was able to find it on Spotify. I liked this one as well. Most sings that talk about the love of a good women is OK with me!

Please send me some music
I liked that one. She does this thing with her voice that's reminiscent of the late Dolores O'Riordan.

Please send me some music
Guys I'm feeling so fucked up. So much stuff is going on that's not bariatric elated. I really need some help. I'm at work right now so I can't take my proper medication. The next best thing for me is music because I refuse to acknowledge the pile of treats and crap given to me by various people at our holiday party today. I'm tired of my playlist. Send me some positive vibes. If you can embed a video from youtube great! If not just type the song name and artist. I'll listen to any genre anyone submits as long as it's positive! Help me Obi-wan Kenobi. You're my only hope!

Dr Submitted(pprwrk) as Urgent
You'll probably have an answer tomorrow if you call back. We don't like to leave urgent sitting at all. That's when the government auditors (CMS) starts really riding our asses. Their the reason we've got no more than 14 days to complete standard prior auths requests.

Jan 2019 bypass buddies
I don't know if it's unusual or not but you could always call your doctor and ask. It's them, not the insurance company the sets the date. In fact, a MD can't even submit a prior auth request without including some kind of date. Even if it's tentative. It should take 15 days for the review. I'd my insurance Monday. and Wednesday if I were you. Not necessary but it stopped me from going crazy with what ifs lol.

Dr Submitted(pprwrk) as Urgent
I work for an Insurance. I work in a department that specifically handles prior authorizations and well as appeals. We don't drag our feet, even though it may seem like it. But boy do we get busy as all hell. Especially around this time of year. I don't know the rules for you particular insurance company but for mine when a member or provider requests an urgent prior auth we ask them a few questions first. Is the patient's life in jeopardy if they don't have whatever they are requesting done urgent? Can they go to the ER? If there life isn't on the line we then ask if they are in unbearable pain. If either one is a yes we process all urgent within 72 hours. Some stuff we have to process same day like chemo treatments and fertility procedures. We don't fight the provider or patient's usually. If they answer yes to the questions we take their word for it. So remember folks YOU CAN ASK YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER FOR YOUR CASE TO BE EXPEDITED. You DO NOT have to ask your provider. Just remember to answer those questions correctly. Again I don't know the rules for every company but in order to even get an urgent you also have to ask for it within 10 days of the case submission.

Surgery CANCELED!
My gut reaction so take that as I know squat diddly. Any info I can give you is purely anecdotal at best. It's just that even my surgeon that hernia are commen and they patch them up. But they could come back. Anyway id imagine it just depends on the comfort level of the surgeon. They are doing the cuttin and snippin. I'm sorry sis.

January 2019 Surgery Date
Hey Johnny! My date is January 15. I've been eating clean and exercising. I weight my self monthly but I've gone down quite a bit. I was to reach 245 by surgery date. I'm at most 257 right now. I freaking love lifting but I don't know what they hell I'm doing. I don't have the tits to hire a trainer right now. Someday. Right now it's youtube, some dumbells I bought on Craigslist, resistance bands, an roller, and desk elliptical. I enjoy the ache of tired muscles. Now if only I loved the ache runners feel I'd love cardio. How can I get past that stitch in my side? I'd love to run regualry someday. But what I really want muscle! I'm young enough to still want to be Ms America, hell even Ms Wakanda! Keep it up! Id love to follow your progress!

You're right! Then add in some tomatoes juice, and little lime, drop or two of Worcestershire, and just a bit of cyanne pepper. Don't forget the vodka!

Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's weight loss challenge
Challenge Starting weight: My current weight is unknown I last weighted myself a week ago. I was becoming obsessed with the scale so I had to take it to the basement behind the furnace. I feel so free! I'll weigh myself the morning of my next MD appointment. December 27th Current weight lost: 23lbs Losing or maintaining weight: losing Fitness/exercise goal: I bought this awesome desk elliptical thingy called Cubii jr. I love it! I use it at my desk all day. I'm gonna have legs like Tina Turner! I also do upper body weight training with resistance bands. Total weight loss at the end of challenge: (Post January 1st 2019) Check in: Tell us how you are doing - (How is your diet and exercise plan going? Any struggles? Stress level? What have you overcome? Any strategies that have helped) Right now I'm still pre op. I've been approved and I'm awaiting surgery January 15. I'm really good at losing a lot of weight because I practice IF. Problem is I don't stick with it. Knowing I'm going to have surgery has made sticking to a good diet really easy. I put myself on a kinda Optifast diet. Lots of clean protein shakes and 1 meal. I consume about 800 calories a day, very little carbs. My goal is to be 245 on my day of surgery!
