  1. OK that sucks then! I live in a fairly pretentious area and there's this spa that offers that just for the hell of it. You can get your face dewrinkled, your ass fat lasered, and a vitamin cocktail delivered straight to your blood stream all at one stop shop!
  2. Hey sis! There is an awesome place near me that offers this service. How often were you getting this done?
  3. My surgeon isn't fat but he doesn't make my panties wet either. (Sorry Doc if you see this please don't leave a piece of gauze inside of me. I still think your french accent is f**king hot!)
  4. I was trying to tell my bariatric skrink this same thing. SHE was trying to tell me that shouldn't be a high priority goal. I was like, look lady. I'm as feminist as it gets, just shy of radical only because I know we need men to procreate.? Is it so wrong that I want to look good on the arm of my wife? Not even for the sake of my OWN feelings? My MAIN reason for doing this was my diabetes diagnosis. I told my doc at the time, " hell naw! I'm 27, I aint takin' no insulin! Get off my lawn!" She told me. Well I guess yo big ass better lose some weight! OK she didn't say it like that. Tad more professional. So my reasons for doing this are very logical and reasonable. It just irks me whenever I mention that I also want to FEEL pretty, it upsets her for some reason.

Pics or it didn't happen <,<
  6. Challenge Starting weight: My current weight is 251. I'm down 10lbs since Nov 27th and 29lbs overall! whoo hoo! I'm going to smash that surgery once I have it! I wasn't supposed to weight myself until the 27th because I was becoming obsessed with the scale so I had to take it to the basement behind the furnace. I was just to curious because I feel great! I won't be weighting myself again until the 27th. Current weight lost: 29lbs Losing or maintaining weight: losing Fitness/exercise goal: I bought this awesome desk elliptical thingy called Cubii jr. I love it! I use it at my desk all day. I'm gonna have legs like Tina Turner! I also do upper body weight training with resistance bands. Total weight loss at the end of challenge: (Post January 1st 2019) Check in: Tell us how you are doing - (How is your diet and exercise plan going? Any struggles? Stress level? What have you overcome? Any strategies that have helped) I've stepped up my IF game to 20/4 on weekdays and 18/6 on weekends. So far so good! 160lb here I come!
  7. Hi surgery Twin! I don't know the time of my surgery but I mine is scheduled for the 15th as well! I must also point out that as a Dragon, I approve of your username. Much better than an Argonian maid!
  8. Gotcha! What were their reasons for using staples? Years ago I had a small surgery in a weird area. The staples hurt when they were removed but it was in an odd area.
  9. Staples where? The incisions on your stomach form the surgery? Or like staples in general? Because yeah that **** hurts. Other than that, there's way too many variables we're missing to determine your possible pain. Good luck sis!?

My 2 rules that I have been very successful with. 1) No meat on the weekdays. Now I'm a Dragon. If the cow is branded, it 'sdone lets eat! That being said. This has been working for me so well! I've been going strong for about a month now. I've also discovered some great recipes and alternatives I never had the courage to try before. 2) No calories before 12pm and after 8pm. I've been enjoying IF, it's really helped me change how I view food. Unfortunately I've picked up other unsavory habits now that I don't overeat. Hey, I'm working on me.
  11. Ask your surgeon because the hospital may supply you with one as well, so you'll have 2, awesome! The order my doc gave to the hospital says place binder on patient in pre-op

I'm always amazed at how nice most of the vets are to the folks that come in with "Help! I'm blah blah years out and I've regained a million pounds! What did I do wrong? Did I stretch my stomach?" You seriously have no clue what you could have done wrong? I don't know about you, but if I was smashing mostly healthy food everyday and GAINED weight consistently for such a long period of time, I'd be scared as f**k! I would be rolling my ass to the MD because clearly my body has me fucked up. That ain't normal.
  13. Hey surgery twin! I'm 1/15 as well.
  14. Alright y'all. I'm going to need some more music. I know you people like music! Send me your motivational tunes! Any genre!
  15. Take care of yourself, and do whatever you need to do sis!
  16. Ha! low paid HS graduates. f**k whoever wrote that because this **** is false. lol HIPPA compliance officer, you'd be better of asking for a supervisor. Any "HiPPA compliant officer" won't know jack **** about your case. Their sole job is make everyone's life hell by making us sit through hours of boring meeting every with the same information repeated; "Don't tell patient's business or the government will fine us a **** tone of money!" That's it. That's is. That is the extent of their job. They don't deal with patients. They don't handle requests. They don't know anything about you or your surgery. As for the low paid HS bit. Don't confuse medical reviewers with customer service. There ain't no High School students reviewing a damn thing. Period. Nurses and Doctors only. I don't know who came up with this but it's a farce. Do however ride you're Insurance companies ass as if your life depends on it! Because it does! Don't take no for a answer if you can help it! Here is the a real tip and secrete. Medical policy isn't black and white. It's still the RN or the MDs sole discretion in most cases. Sometimes that first denial came from an a*****e, or a "by the book consultant". When you appeal your denial, it cannot go back to the same reviewer. Thereby increasing your chances of getting someone feeling more favorable. As for your appeal to be expedited! It most cases you only have up to 10 days of the denial to request this. Expedited appeals have to be completed with 72 hours because uncle same says so! When they ask you if your life would be in danger if the appeal isn't expedited say yes! Say you're in unbearable, unmanageable pain! I took this a bit personal but this is my career.
  17. Why why you denied? Also I was wrong, there are other January threads >.< Oh well, we can till party of here!
  18. I'm in love with Whey Protein Powder Isolate by BulkSupplements. I bought mine from amazon. I love this stuff. I mix it plain water and it taste like extremely watered down welfare milk power lol. You know, that farina your mom had in the pantry when you were a kid. Oh, and it mixes so freakin' easy! I put it in my cup, give it a hard stare and bam! 8 - 12 oz of protein at 122 calories, no sugars or fat and less than 1 carb.
  19. Agreed! When I was a little Sin I saw my Grandmother's pastor doing some pretty heavy kissing on one of the nurses. He was married of course. I'll never forget that. He was a fire and brimstone type of dude too. Always had something bad to say about women and how they dress, and their proper place in the world. What a great moral compass he was!
  20. OMG it's followed me here! This Baby Shark stuff has been following me everywhere! lol
  21. I can' t answer your question I'm sorry. I almost went for a endoscopic gastric sleeve. I was going to enter a clinical trial to help test its efficacy. I ended up turning the University down when my Insurance approved my appeal for the sleeve. Its truly seems like an Interesting procedure. I will says if your BMI is 35 or greater an you have a co-morbidity, Insurance may pay for it.
  22. It's not fun. I promise. I haven't even had surgery yet and and particular addition is destroying my life. It's all I ever think about now that I've completely overhauled my diet. In fact I've put myself on the Optifast plan. I have 4 - 5 cups of unflavored, unsweetened protein isolate miked with water. 1 meal for dinner. Only eat meat on the weekends. 800 calories a day, at least 108 grams of protien. Plus intermittent fasting 16/8. The weight is flying off. I don't know how much I weight now becuase I hid my scale, but all my clothes fit looser and I can definitely see the difference. My surgeon should be pleased. The only reason I'm successful is because I know I'm having this surgery in January. I'm convinced I've been visited in the middle of the night by the Barbaric Fairy and she took most of my stomach with her lol. I've even experienced dumping to day! I was fighting my urge to engage in a sexual act, right here at work! Sitting next to me was a gift bag of cookies my boss gave me. I ate about 5 nickerdoodles and a whole candy bar. It all came out of both ends. FML As least I feel so sick that I'm no longer have the "urge" but it always comes back. Always.
  23. This right here! baaaby let me tell you! I'm feelin' this one for sure. Felt them tingles on the back of my neck at that first "oooh"
  24. This is one the sounded cool, but combined with the video? Oh man the feels. And it's the first time I've heard French music outside of opera and that children song, Frère Jacques lol
  25. That's my biggest reason as well for choosing sleeve over bypass. I have other reasons that aren't ground in logic, but it's my body and I'm the one that has to live in it.
