  1. I was on Nuvaring at the time of my surgery. I started bleeding March 6th. Surgery on march 30. Didn't stop bleeding until April 13th. Spotted for a while and got mirena on April 21. Spot stopped. It's June 1st and I haven't had a period yet. Not sure I'm I'm happy or sad about that...
  2. You look amazing [emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️
  3. I had my 6 week post op appointment yesterday morning. Once I got the all-clear to advance, I tried eating ground beef for dinner. No good. My plan is to stick to what works for me and slowly introduce certain foods into my diet. I've never been more excited to eat salad today. We shall see how it goes!
  4. Sleeved on march 30th. Had my gall bladder removed and hernia repaired. Haven't had any heartburn at all. I wanted to wait to get my gall bladder removed but thank goodness my surgeon talked some sense into me to get it removed At the same time
  5. They have them at single in single bottle form for about $3.99. Sometimes they'll be on sale. I've tried Alpine Punch and I couldn't finish it. To me, it has a really weird, bitter aftertaste that made my mouth feel chalky. I'd suggest going and getting a single bottle and seeing if you like it!
  6. You look amazing. I am so happy for you! I'm 4 weeks out and I can't wait until I see results like this!!

    FIRST SOFT FOOD!

Loved eggs before surgery. Now I can't tolerate them in any form. [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30]

    Birth Control

Before surgery I was on the Nuvaring. I was sleeved on 3/30. I just switched and got the Mirena on 4/21. Mostly because I know that with rapid weight loss, I'll become more fertile and I wanted to ensure that I won't get pregnant anytime soon. I'm good to go for the next 6 years! Also, lists of times with the Mirena, cycles lessen or stop completely. Looking forward to that!
  9. Sleeved on 3/30. With two week pre-op and post op loss, Im at a 43lbs loss. Protein is no problem for me not getting in 64oz of water is my issue. I never get that much in a day and my skin shows it. It's so dry [emoji853][emoji853] I can't tolerate eggs which sucks because it's a big part of the soft food stay I'm on now. Just started my soft food stay on 4/20 and I'll be on it for 6 weeks. Learning to eat slow and listen to my body. Ready for the 30th to come so I'll be able to go back to the gym! I wouldn't trade this decision in for the world. I'm 28 and able to live my life again! [emoji4]
  10. I can't wait until I'm a pro! Right now I'm all over the place. I get more than enough protein just not enough water. I do eat SF pops and that counts toward fluids but still doesn't get me close to my 64oz goal. I would literally Jane to sip all day [emoji853]

    Meds ?

Crushing pills is such a headache for me. I found most of my pills in chewable, luckily. I can't take solid pills until May 30th. The taste of crushed pills make me gag. However, I find it's not so terrible when put in yogurt or pudding. Good luck!
  12. I'm 3 1/2 weeks out from my surgery and I find that I'm having trouble getting all of my required water in. For those of you who are super successful in drinking 64oz or more of water per day, I'd love if you shared your schedule of how you manage drinking all of that damn water! Lol I just started soft foods so it's making it harder for me, time wise, to consume enough water now that I have to incorporate the 30mins before/after food rule. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  14. I was supposed to stay one night and be released the next day. However, I opted to stay an extra night due to how horrible I felt due to my gas pains.

    Bridesmaid dress...

I was in the same situation. I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding in May. I was sleeved on March 30th. I couldn't purchase my dress any later than the end of January. I ended up buying it a size smaller than my normal size. My dress can be taken in up to 4 sizes, so I have room for alterations. I'm going to have to get it taken in at least one size before wedding day on May 6th
