My surgery went amazing. Only had to stay over night and was released the next day. I came home with a pain pump and a prescription to give myself 1 shot a day for 10 days of blood thinners. I have almost no pain at all except the small amount of gas left inside my chest and abominal cavity. I have been walking alot and even went grovery shopping at Walmart 2 days after surgery. Today, I had to remove the pain pump tubes on my own. Didnt hurt at all. 3 days post op here are my stats HW225 SW217 CW213 GW140.

I was sleeved on 4/13 and I had a similar experience. No pain, except gas pain. Man, that was brutal for about 5 days. I'm 2 weeks post-op and anxious to have my ONE EGG Haven't tried the Premier Protein shakes, though... the carbs scare me. I'm already 30 lbs down. Don't want to derail myself!!

I am so sorry to hear you are having a bad experience. I imagined mine would of been worse. Try a heating pad on your side it helped me. I hope you get to feeling better keep me posted.

Ice may help or if you want to feel like a dessert freeze it and eat it with a spoon like a Wendys frosty!!! I nevee liked the powders either only premade ones.

It really is a mind challenge. Any addiction is hard to overcome. Maybe try finding support groups in your area for that or bariatric groups. I have the same problem and have been thinking maybe a therapist to help me before I have surgery.

This person is way too kind. But exactly right. I'll just leave it there because I'd really like to say more. -
Kikib85 reacted to vamping in I'm unsupportive, but I want to be....
I'm going to be blunt because I don't feel like anyone is really adressing what's going on here.
Grow up or walk away. You're selfish and immature.
I think you hit the real issue with the sentence "I'm scared he will change and I won't like the new him. " and then proceeded to cover it up in concerns for him being in pain and struggling. I'm sure you don't want to see him in pain or struggling, but let's call this what it is. What you're really afraid of is that he will change and won't like the same old you. If you can't get over that or work on that ASAP, then you need to get out of this relationship and let him do what he needs to do because this is not about YOU. How dare you hold someone back from the possibility of a healither life because you "can't handle it" and are insecure.
In my opinion, marriage is the last thing you need if you can't cut to the chase and admit that you're not supportive because you want this to be about you.

Kikib85 got a reaction from maggieO in Feel like a failure
Go back to your surgeon and do a follow up. See a therapist, nutritionist, take it day by day and start back with healthy eating and exercise. Better to get back in the game now before you gain more.
