Just started my all liquid diet today, Was pleasantly surprised that Premier Protein tastes decent..My Surgery is on May 8th

Day 1 of pre op today... did pretty good. My husband opened up his rings he had smoked yesterday and I was practically drooling. He told me to just try a little bite. But I held strong and just finished my cream of chicken Soup and Jello. I have a feeling tomorrow will be harder... but I can do this

I was sleeved 2011. Initially lost a Ton of weight the first year but have never reached my "goal" weight of 140. I Started at 276, today at 181. It's been tough, snacking has been a real problem for me and yes you do get the hunger feelings back, I don't care what they say.... My stomach rumbles if I don't eat for more than 3-4 hours. Doctor said it was most likely gas and not hunger pangs. Also really think about the psychological part of it, not being able to eat certain foods or large amounts of food gets to some people. Also I lost more than half my hair the first year and have never been able to get it all to grow back. I really need to just get back on track ???? but I still believe having VSG was the best decision I ever made & have no regrets! Hope this helps.

For those of you that had the gastric sleeve, how soon were you able to return to work? Also did your doctor in MX give you a written excuse for work?
I am seriously considering just taking a week of vacation and not telling anyone at work that I had any surgery at all. I really don't want to have to explain anything to anyone except immediate family.

How are you feeling today? I hope you are resting well and managing to get some sleep!

find myself not losing any more weight, not a pound, in fact I see my weight go up 1-2 pounds this week and eating the same..
Calorie intake: 1200 calories
Burn about: 2000 calories

Workout: Recumbent Bike: (3X) 15 minutes at 4-5MPH, maximum tension.....
Nutritionist, stated I cannot lose anymore weight, I have no more fat to burn and any additional weight I will be losing will be muscle.
Current weight, 268 and the nutritionist stated, I have about 20-25 pounds of excess skin making my true weight 243lbs
what are your thoughts on this? I think I still have more weight to lose, any advise?

hi all. I have not checked in for awhile, but im doing pretty good. I had surgery in july and started at 537 and am now at 340. I have so far to go still, I keep hitting stalls and it drives me nuts. well i was 487lbs when I started 2 years ago and i am currently 254lbs : ) SO FAR SO GOOD!!!

Good morning everyone, so I had surgery around 7:00 a.m. Yesterday March 1st. When I woke up I was in a lot of pain(gas pain). I'm normally a person who can tolerate pain but not this. The staff here at Saint Vincent has been more than amazing to me. Today, I feel much better. Ready to start my new healthy journey.
